Too old.
And far too expensive for a player who would probably be a bit-part player due to age, injury, fitness. Doubt Pulis will go down that road again.

We shouldn't be signing anyone whose mouth is too big for their face.

Too old for one.
Second, he's a penalty box poacher, which isn't much use to a team that generally doesn't create many chances.

Undecided about this one.
Obviously he is a goal machine and a huge name.
But would Pulis know what too do with him as I'd imagine RVN wouldnt be happy as a bench warmer.
His age and injury record is the problem for me, he's nearing the end of his career and apparently doubts his own ability as he felt before that he wasn't up to the rigours of Premier League football anymore.
However if TP did want him then I'd have to throw my support in.

Too old????? Teddy Sheringham:- On 30 December 2006 he broke the record for oldest Premiership outfield player once more, starting in the 1–0 defeat against Manchester City, aged 40 years and 270 days.
