Who is this guy anyway? lol
A friend has been down to the ticket office twice this week asking about Wembley tickets and was told by staff not to wait until the tickets go on to general sale as there won't be any left!
He is a season ticket holder who wanted tickets for non season ticket holders
I find this very hard to believe
We have 20,500 season ticket holders Say 2,000 folk with ticket stubs from the West Ham game 800 SCFC staff 1000 for box holders/sponsers
That is under 25,000 out of 32,000 gone
The only way that the other 7,000 tickets could be used up would be if SCFc staff were given extra tickets and/or bus companies were given block allocations
Can't see this being true

Heard a rumour that other prem clubs get a small staff allocation too. Does anyone have info on this?

Say 2,000 folk with ticket stubs from the West Ham game. That could be as high as 4,000?
800 SCFC staff. Add staff members families and that figure could easily be 4,000.
1000 for box holders/sponsers, Add the 'nod-nod-wink-wink' and you can double that figure to 2,000.
Two tickets each to Platinum members. What will that be? An extra 1,000?
Maybe they're right?
OS.

What is there to lose?
Just buy the ticket, when they go on general sale go and buy a group together, sell the first one.
If they don't go to general sale he still has a ticket, doesn't want to or can't go on his own sell the ticket.

I take no grubby bribes off anyone. It's easy to get these tickets for Wembley and if you don't get one you haven't tried hard enough. You certainly don't need to register for any of Scholes's deals or schemes either.

It would be interesting to know just how many are desperate to go who either don't have a season ticket or didn't go to the West Ham game.
To be fair to the club they did say anyone who went to the quarter-final tie would get priority over any general sale punters which meant that the empty seats around the ground came as a bit of a surprise.
I reckon 32,000 tickets will possible cover pretty much everyone who really wants to go. I know we took more to both the Auotglass and the Auto Windscreen games but it was more of a family day out because we only had a a relatively small amount of season ticket holders and people took friends and family who normally wouldn't follow Stoke.
With the amount of ST holders we now have the fact that it is one per person shouldn't mean there are many who really want to go who can't.
The only real issue is those who want to go with a mate or family member and who only have one ST between them. I'm afraid it's everyman for him/herself though and if you've got a season ticket my advice is get your Wembley seat booked as soon as you can.

If you have a ST, you will get a ticket.
If, touch wood, we got to the final with a smaller allocation....that worries me.

I haven't sorted anything yet, I'm just confident of getting tickets because I reckon queuing all night will afford me that. What I'm saying is if you don't get a ticket when they go on sale you can't can't have tried very hard or not been that bothered in the first place. If you really want a ticket you will get one. H

(I think) every Platinum + member is a ST holder (and Platinum from memory) so although they get them sooner I don't think it will have much effect on availibility. If they have (as has been suggested) sold memberships late on that will allow people to jump the queue that is wrong in my opinion but I was still under the impression (rightly or wrongly) that you had to be a ST holder to be Plat or Plat +? If that is the case the only issue will be the order of priority and not the number left to the remainder of the fanbase.

A person who may not have been to a game all season can now get two days grace on someone that may have been to most games as a pay on the gate punter and the West Ham game just by taking part in Svholes grubby games.

I agree that it's wrong. I know season ticket holders who are holding out until the West Ham stub sales just so they can sit together. Too much of a risk if you ask me. Anyway, all those silver members probabaly won't get a a shot at final tickets so it serves the jonny late comers right.

We have 20,500 season ticket holders. True. OS. I think we'll be ok in the semi, but if we won (which we won't), I fear for the final (even as a season ticket holder) for all the reasons you just mentioned.

They should just increase the allocation for the final. Its pathetic and needs to be addressed by the FA, as if there were spare seats due to the wembley membership holders (or whatever they are called) not taking up their seats, I would be furious, as there is no way as a non season ticket holder I will have a chance of getting a final ticket (I am a silver member and have been for the past 2 months to gain priority seating for some home games that I could actually attend).

Staff can get ONE ticket on priority. So not 4000, so add 3,200 tickets onto the total for General Sale.
