It was great to see a player in the team who is not measured over the 100 yards using an hour glass.
He looked comfortable on the ball and tried to link up with his team rather than aimlessly punt it in their general direction.
Thought there were a couple of occasions in the 1st half when he had space and opportunity to attack the penalty area and either shoot or cut the ball back but chose to hit diagonal balls early across the box. (Will give him the benefit of the doubt there in that we know that the chances of Mama anticipating a cross and making an early run are about the same as me winning the Lottery tonight).
On the downside he carefully avoided actually heading the ball in any challenge, so I can't see Tone ever playing him the middle.
Overall, of all the players we have brought in recently he is the one who seems to offer something different and add some variety and options to the team.
