Great win and don't want to be all doom and gloom but we are only 5 points clear of the drop. We play Chelsea and Tottenham next (I predict no points from these), this leaves a very tense game afterwards.
I reckon we are going to need to win at least 2 more to survive. I think we'll do it but not without horrendous worry and tension.
Thought Delap had a great game today. He gets criticised alot but deserves praise today

If we can't win one of our remaining fixtures then we deserve to go down..

True - but there are 10 other teams in worse situations, with at least 3 or 4 "unwinnable" games of their own in the run-in.
The thing that does worry me a bit is that maybe our 2 most winnable games of the run-in could take place, back-to-back, in the last 3-4 days of the season, the week after the cup final!
We really could do with another win before that..

We only have to avoid defeat at home to Wigan and Wolves methinks.
Still unbeaten at home this year, we should finish in the top half of the Prem.

We are safer than we were before the game - I'll take that for now

Massive win today but we will probably need 41 points this season (our GD is worth a point)

As we love our club so much we will all be shitting ourselves until its mathematically safe. with the GD it is effectively 6 points and two games. heres hoping for Wet Sham,Wolves and Brum for the drop.

I think our most likely win is the Arsenal home game
Chelsea v tough but they are up & down this season,if we get them on an off day we can get a point or 3 Wolves are decent & battle but ropey defence draw Blackpool away is very winnable as is Villa & Man City away OK they could us but wouldnt be a shock to get something Spurs away is the nailed on defeat I would presume Wigan last game? no idea

The problem for those teams below us now is that they will be playing each other a lot. Single points arent enough and they cant all win

I know where stoke are concerned nothing is never nailed on but...id like to think 3 points from blackpool and wigan. I fancied us today and predicted 3 wins from thos three games. a couple of cheeky little points from the likes of city or spoz or one of the others and we'd be safe. I quite fancy a point when we play chelsea...weve come close a few times now and its gotta happen some tine (i hope lol).

Two losses in the next two games (and only the blindly optimistic would expect anything else) and we'll be looking downwards with a nervous expression again.
If Tone picks a positive side though, we might get something at Villa and I'm hoping we can get a win at Blackpool.
I really want us to be safe before the Cup final...(IF we get there!)
