i don't think your getting my point. yes fuller runs the channels, yes he can work hard closing down. I talking about general movement when we don't have the ball. Jones, Carew and Fuller are very static, they are what i would call reactive players, they wait for something to happen, and then react, i.e a cross into the box, a pass, a flick on. Walters is more a pro active player, he makes little runs, sometimes only 5 yards, but these create a little bit of space. I'm not saying he is the answer, and there have been occasions where he has looked poor, i think we need someone who is pro active but poses more of a goal threat. As it stands though i would put Walters in out strongest 11. I also think he get the best out of our wingers I think Ric is looking a bit jaded at the moment, seemed to have struggled the last few times when he has come on. Shame really as he is probably the best striker we have. Maybe if he gets a longer run out he will be back to his best !!

Walters never stops running and is a real handfull and can strick the ball when he gets in the right position. OK he isnt the most gifted player but he's what we need in a dogfight.

Walters haven't got the pace nor the creativity to be in our long term starting 11, but he works hard and is probably the best finisher of our strikers! I think he deserves only support from us as he always give it all for the club!

2-0 Stoke is the only result that keeps cropping up in my head.
Hoping its KJ with a brace from crosses by JP & Matty.
Lets ride on last weeks result and do the Geordie's plus Chelsea next week for safety.
Goooarn Stoke!!

Win today and I think we are close to being safe
Lose and we are really in the shit (what with the upcoming fixtures) and Wembley wouldnt be worth shit for me and most 'proper' Stoke supporters

Carew no. Be staggered if Fuller starts after Walters' performance last week.

I don't think Fuller will start another game for us.
It's a crying shame.

yeah i would say the same (walters and jones), but you know our tony he likes to throw people back in. Think fuller needs a start to boost confidence.
These 10 min sub appearances are doing him no good at all. I think it would be better for him not to come on at all, seems to just frustrate him further getting such limited game time

I don't think Fuller will start another game for us. It's a crying shame. Fullermagic, it all went wrong with Ric in January imo. Hes as good as gone. Why Pulis didnt just let him go to Sunderland i will never know, because thats where his heart was. Tuncay should have been the one who stayed.

As much as I would love Fuller to start every game for us till the end of the season, it's not going to happen. Something has happened behind the scenes. We may never know what, but after Pulis has wrapped Fuller up in cotton wool all his Stoke career it looks like the Fuller's Stoke career is very nearly over

I'd like Fuller to start, but I'd like to see an unchanged team from last week. The players that started last week deserve another game today.
