Will it fuck be 2 for every 1 season ticket. We have over 20 000 season ticket holders so why on earth would the club let some get 2 and others get 0? Platinum and platinum plus members might be able to get more than 1, quite right too as their loyalty should be rewarded Its a crock of shit if they get two each, fair play they get first dibs etc on away games and so on but I don't see why they should be allowed to buy one for someone else who for all we know has never been a Stoke game in their lives. How is them paying more money mean they are more loyal than someone who buys a season ticket every year?

The club sold its soul with the platinum cards, not got a problem with them giving the 200 away free to them who attended 90% of away games last season.
What the platinum card has done is allowed fans who are jonny come latly fans get a head of those fans who have been attending for decades,oh yes i hear them cry you could buy one too, will i fuck out of principle plus the fact that for 28 years(i mhave been going)we have never neede them.

Platinum plus memberships are no longer available so johnny come latelys cannot get them, therefore those who got them early in season are rewarded. Also, see my previous post about club giving circa 200 of these memberships away to loyal fans anyway I regard a jonny-come-lately to be someone who started following Stoke from our promotion season, obviously taking age in to consideration and such like so yes they would qualify for platinum plus but how does buying everything under the sun equate to being loyal to the cause? It is simply supply and demand. Demand for Stoke is now higher than previously, whereas supply is fixed - number of seats. In an ideal and egalitarian word, the club should have records of who has been over last 10 years and reward these accordingly. But they don't, so most obvious solution is to ration by price. This is still fair because those who paid for platinum plus, or got it for free after loyalty last season, would more than likely be biggest Stoke fans and get greatest amount of pleasure from such a scheme. It is £50, not £1 000, so not going to get Stoke fans houses repossessed. Finally, at start of season semi finals of cup not an unrealistic possibility so this makes scheme even better value

If there were 3 000 plat plus members I would not say they get extra but with being limited to 500 then I don't see a problem as all season ticket holders can get a ticket

In my opinion, i would rather a plat plus member get's extra and uses their discretion about who gets ticket than someone who has never ever been to watch to watch Stoke. If you can't afford a season ticket, but go the odd game then the club find it difficult to differentiate you from someone who never ever goes. To be fair to Stoke, they even have a silver membership scheme which is buttons in terms of cost so if you didn't even get this then it's tough shit if a non season ticket holder cannot get a semi final ticket

500 Plat + .... but then don't forget the 1500 Platinum members pal before it gets to season ticket holders!! ;D Have the club said platinum members have priority over season ticket holders for the tickets? Thats the whole point of the AWAY card scheme mate .... AWAY tickets go to Plat + first, Platinum 2nd and then Gold members (season ticket holders) ...... just because this game is at wembley it's still an AWAY game!! Like all the other away games i have been to this season

Getting to Wembley was always going to raise the Plat+/Plat issue again.
I was given a P+ for attending 80% of away games over the past 2 years. I then had to buy one for my daughter as we go together. This was at the full price, no concessions. When the scheme was launched I had no idea how many would sign up for the Plat so hence my decision to get her a P+ and be on the safe side. Incidently, she only missed P+ qualification by one game!
The Platinum scheme is not new for SCFC. Back in 1997 I became a Premier Club member costing me £300 for 10 years. The primary reason, other than the club needing the cash at the time to complete the move to The Brit, was as an exile it was difficult for me to get away tickets - no online then and phone was not great either. Premier Club gave me priority. The big difference now is we have 21,000 season ticket holders, not the 6,500 we had then. Incidently the away following right now isn't much different in numbers (certainly on the evidence of West Ham the other week).
Loyalty isn't about how much you can afford. I recognise that. I'm no more loyal than my brother who refused to get a Platinum membership. The reality is that I, along with a few other Plat+ and Plat members, will still have to wait until the Gold priority before we can buy our tickets if we want to sit with friends and family. That is where the scheme is floored. I would also add that P+ members have often this season had the worst seats on offer. In recent games I've actually waitied until tickets went on broader sale as more seat choice became available.
When we went to the Autoglass in 2000 and the play offs in 2003 I had priority because of my Premier Club membership. Nobody moaned then.
In reality I suspect there are very few people who bought into the Platinum schemes who wouldn't have gone to a good few away games anyway. As someone above says, it was just practical to buy it.
Perhaps the Fans Forum, in reviewing this with the club at the end of the season, should have asked what the average number of away games a P+ and Plat member have been to this season. They could also look at how many have been to fewer than 5, etc.
These are different times for SCFC. We have record numbers of season ticket holders because we are in the Premier League not because of some wonder marketing strategy. We are also in a semi for the first time in 39 years. Add to that the economic pressure on people and what should be a great day out becomes an issue for the club.
There will be enough tickets for any genuine supporter (not loyal!), and there will be those who get lucky and rock up to their first away game for years. Let's just get on and enjoy it!!
