It was impossible not to mate. Watching how much it meant to the players and fans alike was immense.

I wonder if glory hunters feel that way when they're munching through their prawn sarnys? They can't possibly feel the emotions like we did today living and breathing our own team and city,Yes i was filling up to,i'm 46

I had a tear in my eye mate at the final whistle mate, as I was there at Hillsborough, Villa Park & Goodison in '71 & '72 when I was only 11 & 12.
Today was for all the Stokies who've passed on since that time & for the team that started with Banks, Marsh, Pejic, Bernard, Smith, Bloor, Conroy, Greenhoff, Ritchie, Dobing & Eastham. Not forgeting Burrows, Skeels & Mahoney.
So proud of the boys today & the fans were the 12th man as ever.
Wembley here we come!
Be Loyal Be Proud Be Stoke

I had a few mates round (non Stokies) as I couldn't get to the match cause of work.
Apparently, I was twitching like I was having a fit for the last 15 minutes and when the whistle went just slumped in my chair and grinned.
Amazing feeling - can't wait to do it again at Wembley, as nothing's gonna stop me going that one!

I broke down in tears and knelt praying to the lord before being comforted by some 6 foot fat men beside me who were also weeping.
Quite a day.
