We will win tomorrow and then beat Newcastle. Everyone will get a huge lift and people might even get off Tony's back.
Keep the faith - TP will take care of our club.

The main problem is that the league is so close. If it had been any other year the poor run we are on at the mo would not have been so noticeable but because the league is so close peoples arses are twitching like a good un. Like you sat 2 wins and we will be near mid table again. It is close but there are deffo 3 teams worse than us in my opinion. A trip to Wembley will help people in their quest for happy Stokieness. Hold tight the roller-coaster is far from finished. ;D

People forget the run we were on before the Brum game in the Autumn. Now, like then, we need a slice of luck from somewhere and it could all fade past memory.

We could just as easily lose the next two games and remain in deep shit...

We could just as easily lose the next two games and remain in deep shit... Correct but I still think we will get enough points to keep us up.

a lack of belief will get us nowhere, in the past few years we have turned bad runs of form around in plenty of time

a lack of belief will get us nowhere, in the past few years we have turned bad runs of form around in plenty of time Despite the fact the manager is fannying around with the full backs and refuses to play our best striker. I'll believe it when he plays the strongest team available until then I'll continue to point it out his failings.

I have no faith that Pulis will pick the team that I think is best, and even if he chances on it then it won't be for long. However, I have every faith that he will turn a bad run around and he will keep us up.

It's okay saying these things (and we all hope you're right) but what are you basing this prediction on?
After the West Brom game we had individuals on here confidently predicting we'd win at West Ham and that everyone was worrying for nothing. How did that work out?
I am throwing myself 100% behind the team for whatever remains of this season but I know that positive action from the manager is he key to success, not blind faith.

I just don't think we are as bad as we are playing at the moment. I think we will pick up enough points against the teams we have left. I know we have it in us based on what we have seen so far this season. Pulis' team selection baffles us all at times but he works with the players. He knows if they are fit or putting in 100%. We just simply don't become wank over night. We will stay up and as someone just said major changes will happen over the summer. Bring on West Ham. ;D

It's true some probably said that, but we have also had predictions of doom and gloom every time we hit a bad run over the last few years. It is daft to say we will win the next two but it is illustrating the fine lines between doom and gloom and a cracking season. If Pulis was picking the team we all want and results were going against us, as they are, then we would find something else to blame because losing feels crap. Pulis has a decent record of scrapping a result at the right time with the wrong personel. I'm not saying I'm not anxious about results and staying up, I wouldn't be a Stokie if I wasn't and that's the point of being a fan, but I am not going to give myself and ulcer worrying about death, taxes or Pulis picking teams that baffle me but somehow getting the job done.
