I thought he had a good game last night. He booked players when necessary and kept the dodgy decisions down to a minimum. I felt we should have had a penalty when Cresswell got shoved down infront of the Boothen/Seddon corner and Hudson should have got booked earlier in the game aswell as Lawrence.
Ben Watson should have also got booked for that lunge on Cresswell, but all in all he had a decent game and is one of a very small group of referees who don't play up to the cameras.

Agreed. I was a bit worried about him before the game, but I thought he did an excellent job.
He possibly could have booked a couple early on, but credit for keeping things under control without the need for cards.

So, he missed 3 yellow cards and a penalty but still had a good game? What got me was how he 'warned' 3 of their players for time wasting and we still only had 1 minute added in the first half!? FFS. IMHO he DID play up to the cameras and was his usual useless self. having siad that, he had little or no bearing on the result...our players managed that all on their own

Probably one of the 'few' better refs down the Brit this year. Regarding the Cresswell shout it was never a penalty in my eyes.

Best Ref ive seen down the Brit for years (& Stoke have had previous with Clattenburg - Taggart sending off) - Well done Mr Clattenberg - hes one of a few Refs who will let the players talk to him - unlike Bennett & Riley.

It is one of the rare occassions I have come away from a match that we have lost and never mentioned the ref.
Fairplay to him, you barely saw him (although the 1 minute of added time was strange- wish it was zero!!)

You knew when a centre half bagged a goal like that just before half time it wasn't going to be Stokes night. Looked even more impressive on SSN as did Whelans.

Glenny's was class - could not really tell at the game - but when i watched the game again before - unbeleivable finish. How he hit across the ball to put spin on it was classy - shame it was not 10 mins earlier .

If he'd have clamped down on some of those tackles early on, with a yellow we may have got more joy, he also gave the right back two talkings too, 1 to many? Speaking with a Palace work colleague this morning he said he wouldn't have been perturbed if Watson had got sent off for that lunge

Northwich I reckon that rather than 'naughty' Palarse were a 'niggly' side. Little pushes here and there. Staying down when not injured. Disrupting the pace of the game when they leading by a couple. An efficient away display. Can't argue that Stoke haven't done the same this season.
This wasn't scunny it was palarse who managed by Warnock were not going to buckle easily. They played it well really. As frustrating as it was to watch.
