STOKE CITY supporters purchasing tickets for Sunday's FA Cup quarter final against West Ham United will be given priority in the demand for Wembley places . . .I wondered how long it'd be before they started "Hoovering".

Talking about semi final tickets? If anything tempts fate it's that.

Talking about semi final tickets? If anything tempts fate it's that. To be fair, they do make the caveat "...if the club succeeds in securing a passage to the semi final". (I left that off).

The club can't win though can they? They publicise the 'rules' in advance and they're 'embarrassing' and 'tempting fate' They leave it until after Sunday ( if we get through ) and they're accused of 'shit organisation' and 'keeping us in the dark' and 'not considering the true supporter'.

Assuming a similar allocation as the teams at the Carling Cup Final* - 31,500 tickets each, I don't see that anyone should miss out. 21,500 ST holders will all get one + 10,000-ish non ST's. The tricky part will be how many each category can buy so that say, ST holders can sit with non-ST friends and family. Of course, lookimng beyond the semi , the Final would be a whole different can of worms*. * IF we make it there.

Nice to know any Platinum plum sucking ponce who hasn’t been to a cup game all season can simply waltz to the front of the queue and secure their semi final tickets.
You cunt Scholes.

To be fair to the club, I think this is how they've done it for our last 2 big days out (Wembley 2000, Mill Stad 2002)
I don't necessarily think its the fair way.

but what about people who attended Cardiff, Wolves and Brighton I imagine at least 95% of those will be attending on Sunday. I've never got this argument that those who went to the replay at Cardiff etc should get first dibs because those fans tend to be the most hardcore so will have season tickets and go to most away games and will therefore qualify in the first batch of tickets. Less than a 1000 went to both Cardiff games, Wolves and Brighton combined so why do the club, when trying to sell 35,000 tickets for Wembley, need to have a certain date so 200 can get theirs?

Despite there being enough tickets to go round it's going to become a dick measuring contest about who has attended most games and more worthy of a ticket.

OR those people who have attended 80% of the away games and got the membership for free. That ok with you?!

Nice to know any Platinum plum sucking ponce who hasn’t been to a cup game all season can simply waltz to the front of the queue and secure their semi final tickets. You cunt Scholes. +1 Whitst I think the 'priority' in the original link, is a load of nonsense because anybody who wants a semi-final ticket is going to be very close to getting one, when it comes to the final it is a completely different story. To add insult to injury, the club are currently offering Platinum memberships for FIFTEEN POUNDS! So somebody who hasn't been to an away game all season, can (if we get to the final) suddenly leap frog their way right up the queue ahead of somebody who has been to every game this season, for a measly 15 pounds premium. At best, it's an insult to those people who did stump 30 quid at the start of the season, as their investment has become immediately diluted, when it matters, by the clubs' decision to sell those membership now at half price.

I think it's shit We went to cardiff and brighton games but i can't afford this having forked out nearly £800 for ST's this week...no doubt cunter Scholes will be rubbing his grubby hands at the thought of all those plat ponce cards getting sold now I'd rather miss the semi's than give that tool the satisfaction of me buying his ponce token to get there

It says in that article that QF ticket holders will be given priority ahead of general sale.
So presumably...
Plat+ Plat Gold PottersFoundation Silver
With QF ticket holders being ahead of general sale.
If it's true I'm a bit miffed.
I've been every cup game so far, even every league cup game but might not be able to make West Ham due to family commitments.
But someone who has missed all the other cup games like Brighton, and they're only going West ham because it's a QF, they're allowed priority.

Hypothetical question - in a parallel universe where we got to the final, do you think QF tickets would come into play in terms of final tickets?

Can't believe some cunt is going to get ahead of me when I went to Tamworth away.
I don't think you can class yourself as a real fan until you've seen Lewis Buxton rifle a penno into the top corner to keep you in the penalty shoot-out. I never doubted him.

Indeed PL ... it actually confirms that in the original link. As I said above, I think anybody who actually wants a semi-final ticket will be pretty much assured of getting one, with or without a ticket stub from this Sunday's game.

If we got to the final all season ticket holders will be entitled to a ticket. I think we would get 26,000 for the final and we have about 21,000 st holders. So no worries really for either game.
