hammer in peace here, so where can we drink round the ground? the harvester? and can we park there? As you probably know the Brit is on a retail park well out of the way and parking is difficult. The Power League is apparently out of bounds to away fans so the only option next to the ground is the Harvester. I would suggest that you park in Fenton, Heron Cross or Trentham and walk to the ground, you will be fine as long as you are sensible and there are plenty of pubs on the way.

hem heath cricket club will be home fans only, the odd exception tends to be made for familes man woman two kids under the age of 16 etc, they tend to be allowed in but since the cardiff fiasco hem heath havew decided they dont want the same thing happen their and will be policing the situation very strictly i think, to make sure no west ham fans go their all that do in large numbers will definitely be turned away

hammer in peace here, so where can we drink round the ground? the harvester? and can we park there? If the power league is not open to away fans, have a drink about 5 miles out. You will be fine. If you can manage to park close to the ground, do. The walk for away fans can be horrible, especially if we lose. It really worried me when the tickets went on general sale. This has opened the door to our less-desirables and I really urge you not to drink in Stoke. I took a mate from uni to a game earlier this year and some of the behaviour towards him was terrible-he sat next to me and was watching his team (West brom). He did not even say a word. Be safe mate.I must point out that the vast majority of us are good people-just stay away from the minority.

Priceless ;D I know a copper (was a friend until he joined the police but still speak to him when i see him) From what he has told me the police have advised no West Ham fans in ANY of the pubs near the ground - Harvester, Power League,Hem Heath or Holiday Inn.

I've never had a problem finding a drinker at any away game ever. Then again I've never worn colours to an away game and find it insane that anyone who likes a slurp would.

You don't have to drink right on top of the ground do you? A bit of planning and keep it quiet and you can drink in most places. Although I do take it back, Stockport on a sunday morning years back, could not get in anwhere.

To be fair to the Power League wasnt it Cardiff only on Police instruction ?
I cant see West Ham fans being allowed in anywhere near to the ground so would suggest they stop just outside Stoke for pre-match beers.

They were round him like flies. He was getting filled in, so I tried to stop it and managed to get a few off him. Next minute about 15 lads ran round the corner and we both got a real belting.

I know it should be ok but in the real world he was never going to get away with that. If you had an ounce of common sense you never would have taken him.
