Well one has read its the players fault and also seen where the manager was to blame for last nights defeat on the pages of this board. Well lets look what part the fans ( One uses the word fan because what one saw and heard last night was a poor excuse for support) played, apart from booing at half time very little noise was made. In fact there was more atmosphere at great aunt Isabel's funeral a few year ago. What a disgrace our fans are, a chance to take the top spot in the league and the stadium had less noise than a bloody morgue. Some managers say that the crowd could be the twelfth man in our case the crowd are an hindrance much in the way of a broken leg.
PS one prediction of 1-2 was right. always listen to the Eff
To see what a crowd should sounds like one will only have to tune into ITV tonight and listen to the Scousers!!!!!

The number of times I had to explain to people that the reason why the South Stand was empty is because we give all of it to opposing fans was untrue.
"Look, there's nobody in that stand, hahaha" "That's cause it's the Palace end"
Repeat about 600 times.

trust me,40,000 people singing delilah v 40,000 singing ynwa, delilah would be louder no contest,i do sing by the way.but because we didn't sing all the way through the match is the reason we lost???is that what you're saying?

well i feared the worst when i saw the team sheet, i joined in the early delilah and then sat sulking in my seat as the inevitable happened. i was pissed off before i got to the ground and nothing on the pitch changed my mind

Blame the fans!
In my opinion the supporters showed encouragement to the team from kick off by chanting Delilah, and a few other chants such as Come on Stoke, Oh when the reds, we'll be with you.
Then yet again we concede a goal and that put a big dampner on things because it was the third straight home match were the opposition has scored first.
Then we go and concede another, it was like having your knackers ripped from your body. I was no longer in the mood for chanting and it was not just me, I'm sorry if you're disappointed but it is time those players who wear the Stoke City colours started to produce the goods again with the help of better tactical decisions from the manager.

Well one has read its the players fault and also seen where the manager was to blame for last nights defeat on the pages of this board. We lost on here as well!!!!? Jesus wept; I go away for one game and we go and lose the blimmin' thing. I dunno; who was left in charge? Come on, own up! Shocking. It wants shutting down when I'm not here, if this is what is going to happen. It's bad enough we lost at the Brit ... without this outrage. Sort it out!!1!1! ah

It would be nice to hear a few different chants or songs. "Delilah" and "come on Stoke" get a tab boring after about the tenth time of singing.

i do half agree lordeffinghamhunt but fans can see our chance slipping away because of Pulis'd negative tactics and playing players who arent performing or who are playing out of position. I dont agree with booing unless players are working hard. Things have now slipped threw our own fingers and Pulis is still trying to put square pegs in round holes. In Delilahs last night everyone was on about why he'd picked mama when he now has a lot of players who can play up front. Why??? simply because Tone wont play two up from the start. I agree we have our part to play and i tried my best last night but when i witness that sort of first half performance youcant blame people for being a little quiet m8

69, surely if the fans see our chance slipping then that is the time to get really vocal instead of sitting there like you are waiting for your case to come up in court! The fans participation was nothing short of a disgrace last night. is in any wonder that we are labled a small club?
