Its a Premier League season ticket. What if we get relegated will I have to take it back for a replacement, I mean 19 vouchers for the prem but 23 needed for the championship.
This could be very embarrassing for the club

Would you have created a thread if there had been more vouchers? No because he is one of the new breed doom mungers on here. Seriously some people on here need to get a grip. Maybe a season back in the championship may get rid of a few of the glory boys that can't understand why we are not in the champions league.

I don't think it's about being a doom monger it's just the emotion that football brings and the massive up's and downs that come with it. Like anything in life you can't be happy all the time and at the moment things are at a bit of a low point (though not anywhere near as low as the Alan Ball (rip) days. It's because we want to stay where we are and people can see mistakes being made that there's so much concern and negativity on the board as long as it doesn't affect match days and get to booing at the players then I don't see a problem with people voicing there opinion even if it's critical. I started supporting us in 1975 and have seen the bad days of Barker and Ball and don't want them back when we're in such a great position financially to push on. I put my hands up and say I can be criticial more than most but it's not because I'm a glory hunter I guess it's because I care so much. I would follow us in the Championship as I did when we were struggling in Div 2. Being a supporter doesn't mean that it's conditional you have to support everything the club does tell that to AFC Wimbledon/MK Dons supporters. We'll still be there when all the players and TP are long gone after all. In the end it's a board for discussion and opinion and not everyone can agree.

Thank you Clyde. This oatcake forum is something else. I follow England and go on the England forum far more than this one and considering on there its club fans from all over the country - everyone has decent banter and in the main gets on. On here good god - you risk abuse the minute you start a thread !

The glory boy comment was a general comment and not solely aimed at the op. This board is slowly heading down the shitter and it is no coincidence that this has been going on since we came up. Even in the very bad days there was still some light hearted banter on here but it is so negative of late it is sometimes hard to read.

Guys - There is more vouchers, there are 4 at the back with no reference to take them up to 23 games. My mate has had his season ticket back now for over a week, first thing he said when we spoke on the phone was
"youll never guess, they have put 4 extras vouchers at the back which can be attributed to nothing...... other than if we are in the championship"
and before we say it i think they are because the club arent that silly as to recall all the season ticket books for re printing, are they?

He is right though, there is a possiblility we could be in the Championship next year if Pulis doersn't pull his finger out of his arse and start turning results around. It's not nice to think about, but because we don't want it to happen doesn't mean it won't.

Those vouchers have always been in season ticket booklets - previously they were supposed to be for priority for cup tickets etc. I guess they could be used as match vouchers if we did end up in the championship. If that were to happen - i'd imagine the re-issue of season tickets would be the least of our problems.

Either way, let's all hope that we don't need any of the extra vouchers!
No way do I want Stoke in the Europa league, our league form has suffered enough with this cup run! ;D
Now is the time to get together and roar the potters on to Wembley and Premier League survival!!
Go on Stoke!

The lettered vouchers at the back of the book would be used for the extra 4 Championship games should we get relegated. Anyone who hasn't worked that out should seek medical help! I hope we don't get relegated, of course, but I'm delighted the club have bitten the bullet and sent the books out early this season. Last season's fiasco (with the late arrival of some books) is something that should never be repeated. I ended up collecting my ST at the first home game of the season as the third party distribution company managed to lose it and it had to be reprinted. EDIT: In these days when we are all registered on the club computer database there is no need for vouchers to enable us to prove our eligibility for tickets for cup games etc.

I suppose they still take their vouchers to the club like the good old days.

The club might take the vouchers (I don't know if they do or not) but, if they do, there really is no need to do so - they are just doing it for old times sake.

so if we got relegated and they refused to let anybody in unless they had ticket number 20 what are the odds of that tree at the side of the brit holding the weight of 25,000 stokies?
