i watched the game on TV.... after all i do live in America, and every time the camera panned around i kept asking if everybody showed up dressed as an empty seat !! less than 15,000 Stoke fans for a huge promotion battle, simply pathetic !! as i said before, something needs to be done for television coverage of such a game in the home town. I have mentioned in the past that over here , when that happens, the game is blacked out at home unless a certain amount of tickets are sold. i.e. unless Stoke sell at least 21,000 tickets, TOUGH, nobody gets to watch it !!!

It was a very dissapointing gate given the importance of the game
Perhaps we could have followed West Broms example and slashed prices to £10 because I can see a similar figure turning up for the Bristol game and that would be massively embarrassing

I feel we may get a bigger crowd than 15k for Bristol City. Firstly, it is on a Saturday and will be a little later in the season than Palace.

A very disapointing crowd last night, I don't expect the Bristol City crowd to be much over 20,000 unless we thrash Coventry and other results go our way. Not too good a chance of that happening though.

As I have said several times...
People will only put up with wank, one-dimensional, shit football if you are winning.
Once that stops, they stop attending.... simple.

I was expecting more, but was it that bad?? Watford on sat 3pm no sky had 17,500 Last Bristol Home game there were 17,500
We were on Sky on a Monday night, 200 away fans, 15,500 Plus we had won 1 in 6, and playing crap.
We are near the top of the league under false pretensis, and I think for the last month most Stokies know that !!

...less than 15,000 Stoke fans for a huge promotion battle, simply pathetic !! Point of order: As Palace brought only around 200 (and I'm being generous), there were actually more than 15k Stokies there. Sorry to be so pedantic, but I'm a stickler for these things! In retrospect, I'm not surprised at the attendance - I speculated on a thread last week that there would be about 15k there (then allowed myself to be taken in by the claims that we were expecting a 20k crowd). I spoke to a number of people yesterday at work, many of whom claimed they would have gone but for the fact that it was on Sky.

Agree with you m8 i already have tickets for both of the remaining home games and the coventry game but don't actually feel like going watch any of them with the shower of shit thats been on display since the scunny game ..........PEOPLE WILL NOT PAY to watch stoke when its on the tele perhaps p.c. should have thought about this before he opted to accept skys money when he knew full houses would be more imortant to us at this stage of the season

I can't believe that any right minded individual would advocate going to watch that one dimensional pile of crap that was passed off as football last night and pay for the privilidge. My Dad who has watched Stoke for 67 years walked out at half time muttering things along the lines of this is not football!!!
