Pulis!!!
That team last night was strong enough to beat plarse. However we were poor all game, yet still created chances to win the game. The fact is players were asked to do their job last night.
Denfense - Keep it tight at the back - didn't do it
Midfield - keep the ball create chances, didn't keep the ball, but created chances
Attack - Score goals - had the chances but didn't do it!
Blame Pulis all you want but it was th players who let us down!!!

So when we do well it's Pulis, and when we do badly it's the players?
While he picks defenders who can't defend and strikers who can't score, he'll rightly continue to get the criticism he deserves.

Attack- Score goals- had the chances but didn't do it WHO picked a striker that has a total of 2 goals all season & left his top scorer on the bench until the middle of the 2nd half? when we are already 2 -0 down?

I agree, it wasn't Pulis fault entirely, but still, wtf didnt he start with Fuller?
The players should have played better, but Pulis was a cock for leaving out fuller.

They have to take some of the blame you're right, too many of them are performing at an unacceptable level and whilst some of their shittness is not directly Pulis's fault it is entirely his responsibility.

stokie - I know you have some valid points there, but they get sent out to play in a set way. A set way that's so set, everyone in the country can see what it is.
A set way set by a manager set in his ONE way.

Sidibe wasnt fit.....Fuller wasnt fit....Why not start with Bothroyd then? The blame falls directly at Pulis' door! Griffin off form,Pugh out of position....Two out of 3 top scorers on the bench.Need anymore proof?

for the first time i will say i think it was pulis' fault yesterday,it was the players fault because he picked the wrong players.i think bothroyd or fuller should have started, dicko or wilko for griff, and shawcross for riggot.

Who was it that chose to play a player at right back that has looked nothing short of shocking since being put there, even though he's proved he's one of the best left backs in this division ? Who was is that chose to play a defender carrying an injury against his old club instead of possibly our best signing of the season ? Who was it that continues to play a player at left back who has cost us several goals this season from this position ? Who was it that chose to play a striker thats been doing his best to fill in at left wing all season only to be chucked on the right wing last night ? Who was it that chose to bring in a striker thats been out with hamstring trouble & only has 2 goals to his name this season ? Who was it that chose to keep the most ineffective striker I've ever seen in a stoke shirt on for 90 minutes? (His only contribution to the match was to deny Fuller the chance of scoring)
It's hardly rocket science to pick the team based on where we know the players are most effective. Griffin to left back, anybody right back is better than what griff has produced, Delap to the right if Lawrence is out with Pugh coming in at Centre Mid. Fuller has to start or bothroyd. Or both.

Boothenendboy, he should have started Wilko AND Dicko then we would have seen how good their wingers are when they are actually getting tackled, if he drives these two players away he wants shooting.
