I know we are dropping lower and lower in the table and relegation looms but we are one win away fro the Semi Finals at Wembley!! how long ago was it that we dared to dream of europe again for the first time since the 70s? we need to find that pride and sing our hearts out saturday and then again when Newcastle come to the Brit! if we find our voice maybe Pulis will find the right team and they will find their form!!! STOP THE NEGATIVITY!

I think for most fans the league remains the priority and for older fans like me Wembley will only really count if it is for the final

Everyone MUST think of a win only and really get behind the lads. Flag out, good announcer stirring the crowd up,scarves, shirts worn, banners and well oiled throats!!Come on folk we have to be the 12th man for this one!!

noticed tonight after barcas own goal to give arse the lead, the crowd whistled all the time arse players had the ball, cheered when they got the ball back.
this is what we used to do, and need to get back to doing

We really need a win against west ham, just for confidence, we seem so deflated, every needs to feel more confident, staff, players and fans, a good win could do this, and would be vital at this time of the season

3 points against the mags instead of a win against west ham ,id take ithat anyday over a semi final , the FA cup is a nothing cup and we would be totally outplayed there with the shit we have in our side, wilson, walters, pugh etc

Nothing like a bit of positivity is there?!
Scenario 1. - Lose to West Ham, further deflating players and fans alike. High possibility of boos and general unrest from the crowd - heading into an absolutely massive league game.
Scenario 2 -Beat West Ham, celebratory atmosphere at the end of the game. Talk of the town and lots of excitement leading into - an absolutely massive league game.
Sunday is MASSIVE because of the effect it could have on next Saturday. Win our next 2 matches - and it can be an exciting end to the season. Lose them both and we will spiral deeper into depressive and negative times.

My only motivation for Sunday to progress in the cup is to give the team a bit of positivity. Playing semi finals at Wembley is just a money grabbing joke and means absolutely jack sh*t. Getting to the final and playing there is a totally different matter and I would love it. The league is the most important thing and remaining a premier league team has to be the priority. Going down is like dissappearing into the abyss, as demonstrated by several ex premier league teams now struggling for survival. Yes, I desperately hope we win on Sunday but cetainly not for the glory of a semi final at Wembley, purely to get some inspiration back into a team that is currently sadly lacking in most areas.

Spot on. I may be leaving myself wide open to accusations of Pulis Hating Wankstainery here, but it would be small time beyond belief for anyone to try and hail a win on Saturday as some kind of wonderful achievement because our next game in the cup will be at Wembley. The semi-final may be played there, but we are not "one win away from Wembley!".

So, reaching the the semi-finals of the oldest and most famous domestic cup competition on the planet for only the 4th time in our history is not a wonderful achievement. I don't get the logic there, sorry.
