I thought we started brightly and the first goal came against the run of play . The second one had a bit of fortune in it as it spooned up off ( i think it was Morrisons ) foot and the centre half struck a great effort which he probably will never do again and never has before . We threw everything at them second half but you have to say Palace defended really well .
That said I think Palace looked a very useful side . the 2 wide men they had were both causing problems at they looked really solid at the back . Just hope Palace can do this to the other team's they have left to play .

Keep things in perspective. There is a danger that we get too wrapped up in the league table. It's been said before, but anybody can beat anybody in this league, home or away. Palace are a run of form, are well organised. I thought they played quite well. The keeper was good, they scored 2 good goals, defended bravely and rode their luck.
Another cliche: goals change games. That second goal on the stroke of half time was vital, because it allowed them to get men behind the ball, slow the game down and see it out. The longer it went on, the more they sat back.
And its true that it didn't go for us. The first half header not only hit the post, it rolled along the line. We had 11 corners in the second half, and 2 or 3 headers. Sometimes they fly in. We do play "percentage" football to a degree, where we get the ball up, look for flick ons or breaks, and make the most of set pieces. Often, this produces 2 or 3 goals, sometimes it doesn't come off.
I was really down last night, and today, but that's no use for the players. They've got to get on with it, and win the next 4 games. It's definitely still on because, like we should all know, everyone will drop points this season. We need to get the belief back, and maybe Lawrence and Fuller are the key to this. When those 2 play well, everyone believes we can win.
It certainly ain't over yet!
