Think there's a lot of knee-jerk reaction here to a bad result, we're still in with a chance of automatic promotion with 4 games to go, near certs for the play-offs and probably none of us would of even dreamed of being in this position when we travelled to Cardiff on August 11th 2007 and this was the best team we could put out..... Simo,Wright,Higgo,Shawcross,Dicko,Lawro,Delap,Matteo,Cres,Sidibe, Fuller. Subs Hoult,Eustace,Pulis,Parkin,Wilko we've come so far this season and it's not over so let's get behind the team until the last ball is kicked and get us fooking promoted C'MON STOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So are you suggesting that if we fail to go up, either automatically or via the playoffs, then Pulis should get the bullet?????

As long as Shameobi doesn't play, we can still win all 4 games left.

MrMagic. No i'm not suggesting that he gets the bullet at all i think if we get in the playoffs we have by far exceeded our expectations of this season. If we don't go up this year i think we'll be one of the favourites for next season.

stone, quite right, May 4th is when we should really judge the season. Everything else is just opinion and hot air ;D

If he doesn't get the team promoted, from its favourable position, with the money that he has spent, then I think the bullet will be the least he will deserve.
Pulis fucked it up last season with his negative approach to games and he is faring no better this season.
The man is an idiot who in the face of any tangible success, panics and reverts to type.
I will judge him during May, but it is actually harder to fail with this team than it is to succeed in my opinion. If he can't get this team promoted, he will never get a team promoted in my humble opinion.

So we aren't judging him on 4th May then are we??? He gets a further season whatever.
I don't really want him sacked tbh, but alot of what is being said today is not really knee-jerk. People were calling him an inept bottler at the end of last season, and the same traits seem to be surfacing.

I'm sick of the continual postponement of Pulis' judgement day - there's always another milestone date that we have to wait for.

You cant really judge him now can you? Even his harshest critic is unlikely to call for him to be sacked now as that would be idiotic.

Theres 6 of backbone of the squad from that starting line up.
I judged Pulis at the end of last season when he bottled the play offs I have an enormous sense of deja vue.
I hope to experience it again when the twat is sacked
