I totally agree that we are in trouble at the moment, and are in a relegation battle. Look at our squad - we have been performing way above our level since our 1st season and are now falling back to down to our level.
But to sack pulis now with 9 games to go and we will be far more likely to go down. MoN won't touch us, we would do well to bring ANYONE in permanantly before the end of the season.
Like it or not, Pulis is our best option until the end of the season.
Now more than ever, stoke city fc needs its fans to shine - we need to bearpit atmosphere back at the brit, starting with next weekend. If you don't like Pulis or the players, then don't sing for them, sing for Stoke City Football Club.

I agree. Sack in the summer when we've got time to get the right replacement in.

I don't think Coates would sack him even if we did get relegated but he could get hounded out by the fans.......I just say to Coates remember what happened the last time it all went tits up with you in charge, don't let it happen again !

The odds of him going before May are about the same as Lord Lucan riding Shergar to victory in the Moon Derby.
The summer could be a different kettle of fish though

we are no way going down, unless we sack him, which we won't. I just want to make the point to get rid of him would be crazy.
End of season, we can discuss then. Right now we need to focus on getting behind the club.
THIS COULD STILL BE OUR GREATEST SEASON IN OUR HISTORY.

oggy it's all very well being positive but current form and the league table and the way we are playing all suggest that relegation is now a real threat

i agree we are in trouble. But that is exactly why, more than ever, we need to support our club. it might make no difference, but it might make all the difference and help inspire the players to pull their fingers out and perform like we know they can.
Pulis operates best with his back against the wall. We will improve.

I agree it would be silly to do anything now but after we have hopefully stayed up Coates needs to take a long hard look at things and decide if we are ever truly going to evolve from the kick and rush we are playing now.

Keep him to the end of the season , when fingers crossed we stay up and dont delude yourselves its tight, then think of a way to get rid without a bad taste.

Coates loves TP, no way will he sack him now or in the summer, no matter what happens.
TP's DNA now runs through this club from top to bottom, everything is geared to the way he plays, he has signed players specifically to play his game, so unless the replacement is a sam allardyce, or at a push Martin o'neil, then it would be very risky in sacking him now.
I personally don't think he deserves the sack, most clubs go on bad runs in the premier league, especially clubs our size, it's bound to happen, TP has a knack of turning bad runs around, he's done it before and he'll probably do it again.

Coates loves TP, no way will he sack him now or in the summer, no matter what happens. I was thinking the same before. But... PC is a ruthless businessman and I'm not too sure if he would enjoy seeing all the money invested more or less going down the drain. Promotion back up is not guaranteed and will be costly if we manage to do so. TP might not get the 'sack' but an administrative change of position could be possible, might even a sudden 'illness' to get another manager in. I don't know - I'm just speculating. But I really don't think PC would like the club to go down and will do whatever he can to make it stay up.

Agree with the above. It would be madness to sack him. But someone has got to give Pulis a bollocking and tell to stop being a stuborn prick and play his best team. At the end of the season he should walk.

Pulis is Colonel Gadaffi. There'll be blood on the carpet before he goes. But he must go and I reckon now (won't happen)

I fear for us if he stays TBH it seems like he has run out of ideas and the countless millions he has spent on piss poor midfielders will be his downfall.....

TP to go well before the start of the next Season, so a "new" man in charge has funds/time to shape the club......BUT....You know that just isnt the Stoke way. :-(
