Pulis said he had no injury worries for Saturday in the post-match interview, unless he forgot about Larwnce. Think he'll be fit for the weekend

Fingers crossed then.

Who will he drop though?
Cresswell for me, although I'd feel desperately sorry for a player who gives 100% every game and has played out of position at the manager's (I use the term loosely) behest for most of the season.

If cresswell starts on saturday i think we all know we're doomed! Dickinson, Fuller and Lawrence restored to the starting 11 and i'll feel much happier........can't see it happening though!

We did miss him alot. He just makes our pitch so much wider. Cresswell isn't an option on the wing. At last, we have a natural left winger int he side, and immediately, LL goes and does his groin!!
Fingers crossed he returns for Saturday's crucial match

Surely we can't be entertaining the thought that Cresswell might be dropped??!!! ???

How many left sided players are we going to try before we get one that's worth a place?

Well Gally was our top goal scorer from there last time around, and no one can say he has been given a fair crack of the whip this time around by Pulis, I'd play him and bring Pearson into the middle with Whelan and play Lawrence on the right with Fuller and Bothroyd up front. Mama can sit on the bench with Delap to try and change the game with set pieces if we are struggling with 20 mins to go.

Id give Bothroyd a try, he looked pretty good when he came on last night and got a few good left footed crosses in the box

RAF - you know that, I know that, EVERY Stoke fan with a brain cell knows that!
Sadly, we don't pick the team.

In Lawrence's absence, a front 6 of :
Simo Wilko-Cort-Shawcross-Griffin/Dicko Gallagher-Whelan-Pearson-Bothroyd Fuller-Ameobi
would give us the some serious quality.
We'd have to drop Nash and Riggott to accommodate all those starting loan palyers.
And, let's face, it, it's not one Pulis would remotely consider workable for a split second. Gallagher's got as much chance of starting as Demar Phillips.

Add in a factor for fear of losing and the current mentality in terms of the team management is patently obvious. Typical of a defensive minded tactician. No criticism meant either. Leopard, spots and all that.

No way should Delap be dropped . He's been one of our most consistant players since christmas .
Nash Griffin Riggott Cort Dickinson Lawrence Delap Whelan Pearson Fuller Ameobi
subs = Simonson , shawcross, Cresswell, Sidibe, Pugh
ps. Mancstokiefan , wishing injury on one of your own players is a disgrace . you should be ashamed .
