Getting a bit embarrassing now. The youth who broke it is now offering to replace it for one from IKEA ;D ;D. I did cringe when TP made an issue of it and even boring as fuck Woy took the piss! With the West Brom fans taking the piss to painful success with our hoofball game, the last thing we needed was TP on National TV looking like he was about to burst into tears over the damaged picture.

Don't often agree with TP but I do in this case. What the thug did was vandalism. It just goes to show how little respect people have for others' possesions.

Furthermore, upon hearing this it made me sick to the pit of my stomach that someone could smash up something belonging to my historical club.

I don't know what the picture ws, however i know down the tunnel there are photos from our promotion winning day, a day that will forever live in Pulis' heart, aswell all of us Stokies, so if he got upset by it, then he's got my full respect. That picture shoild, and does mean so much to him, and for someone to show so much disrespect as to smash it, then yes the media should know about it, and olsen been outed as a prick is fine by me

As far as I'm aware SCFC treat their guests at the club very well. To do that when visiting someone else's house is disrespectful to everyone at the club.
Fucking thick ugly baggie oaf.

I'm glad that Pulis kick up a fuss about it, it's OUR history and some no mark Baggie decides he'll twat the glass frame that the picture was in instead of actually fronting up and punching the player who he wanted to?
Maybe we should smash up their historical pictures at The Hawthorns and see how they like it?

Pathetic smokescreen to change the subject away from the abysmal football he's got us playing.

The interviewer asked him what he thought about the West Brom player breaking the picture... Pulis just said he was disappointed. He's hardly gone on some personal agenda about his beloved picture, embarrassing everybody involved with Stoke in the process. He just answered a question, played it down a little bit and said he's sure Roy Hodgson will deal with it.

It seems it was all fuelled by none other than Mr Fuller, refusing to shake hands. Funny how he seems to be around when a lot of aggro goes on, oh Ric, will you ever learn No

This isn't about money, it's about respect. Olson is an oaf. West Brom and other clubs claim some moral superiority over Stoke, we are the thugs - now we know the reality. Also can't stand that grinning idiot Woy, however the respective teams played, his side had just got a point through an illegal goal, the fact that they didn't score another goal was through Begovics skill, part of the Stoke team, so they were not unfortunate. But you would have thought they had won the world cup. he is totally disrespectful.

It made us look a bit girly to be crying over this given our reputation as a tough team.
Presumably it was a signed photo of Gifton.

You see what I have never understood is why people get embarrassed about Stoke City or the people connected with it. So what if he is making an issue of some lump kicking Stoke's historical memorabilia around, even though all i saw him do was answer a question directed to him. Same goes for our style of football, why be embarrassed about it. Are these same people embarrassed about members of their own family when they do something a little different from the norm. I suspect this thread in reality is just another opportunity to knock one of Stoke's greatest ever managers. The only people who should be embarrassed here are Hodgson and Olson for their complete disrespect for our football club. Ifa Stoke player did this anywhere i am quite certain Pulis would not make a joke about it and the player would be rightly bollocked. Its a shame some Stoke fans view things like this when in actual fact they should be very proud about how well our wonderful club is being run by Coates and Pulis and the rest of the management team at Stoke. I am extremely proud of them. And for the record i agree we were bloody awful on Monday, terrible. I just aint going to ask for the manager to be sacked when overall he is doing a fantastic job moving this club forward.

Pulis was asked a question in an interview and he answered it - he didn't make an issue out of it.
Yet some on here have twisted that to suggest that "picturegate" was a smokescreen for a bad performance - when Pulis also admitted that we played poorly.
I'm not happy with the tactics or the performances at the moment (and especially on Monday) but to drag this up to beat the manager with is a bit pathetic.

I agree with bobster. We should be proud of our club and what has been achieved, furthermore we should be VERY PROUD of our players and how they conduct themselves! We never see our players rolling around on the ground as if shot. Several times against the "cultured" baggies Stoke players were hacked down, but never made a fuss. Even Pennant got straight up after being garotted!! ;D
