Would be a great signing. Him and Carew up front, would be the same strike force that saw them finish in the top 6.

Really?
I know he's getting pushed out of the picture a bit but I didn't realise that there was talk of him leaving.
I can't see it happening but I think he'd be a great signing for us.
Lightening quick and can score (although not the best finisher in the world.)

Not good enogh, just like Carroll last summer, just not good enough If its not Messi then theyre not good enough! ;D
In reality, he'd be mint. Can play upfront on the wing so replaces Tunny's versatility. Houllier told him to lay off the weights and he wasnt too happy, no such problems with Tone! Nearest thing we can get to Fuller maybe? Fills another homegrown spot in the squad too

I'd love him at Stoke but we have to stay up first.

He would be an unbelievable signing but it would be unbelievable studpid of Villa to let him go. Also I think for him to be effective at Stoke we would have to look into making te pitch bigger

Pulis tried to get him to Stoke on loan during his first spell. About two weeks after our attempt to get him, he made his Villa debut and hasn't looked back since.

I love it when people are negative about players who are clearly better than what we already have...would be a fantastic signing !!

I'd be delighted with that.
Annoys me when he occasionally gets picked for England so that'd soon stop.

No thanks. A modern day Martin Carruthers springs to mind.

Terrible footballer, git quick though. I think "terrible" is way off the mark and four seasons on the spin of double figure scoring returns, suggests otherwise.

Agbonlahor would suit us like a glove.
When will we learn that we are not that fucking attractive? If we can get him here for talks, don't let him leave!

What is it with TP? First we try to recreate the Jones/Bent partnership, now we're trying for Carew/Agbonlahor. Seriously though, I'd be impressed if we signed him. A little on the short side, but I can imagine him leading the line very effectively. A younger Fuller.

Can't see it as he probably thinks he's too good for us and his wages are high. Would be an excellent signing though.

I can't see it happening but if it did it would be a brilliant signing. He's got pace in abundance to get on the end of a Carew/Jones flick on or balls into the channels. TP won't change his philosophy on the game so we might as well get the best available for his game plan.

We could have some sort of ex-partner strikers.
Bent/Jones Carew/Agbonhlahor Walters/Wickham
Imagine how scary that would look on paper. Also how unrealistic it is. ;D
