The main question(S) in my mind tonight as I arrive home
What posssed our manager to leave more football talent on the bench than out on the bleeding pitch first half ?
I dont think I need to explain anymore surely
Second, why expose 1 chap playing fullback to a tricky winger who plainly doesn't want to play fullback and another so sadly off the pace at present, he just shouldnt be in the side - both to get a total 'buttfucking' on either side of the pitch for the entire first half.
another total mystery
And, why isnt Shawcross playing ??? has he upset someone?
And, why did your (certainly not mine) midfield again, play like a total bunch of strangers for the entire first half ?
all in all shockingly poor team selection form the embarresment of riches we now have - Fuller should have started whether he was drunk / jetlagged / whatever, instead of Sidibe - and tonight was obviously a night for young aggressive mobile fullbacks who would face up to and have the pace to tackle their wide players.
you fuck this up Mr Pulis - and even I wont defend you anymore.

Can't argue with any of that, or find answers for it.

Indeed, Uky.
Bizarre.
He's paid to make the big calls, and he got them spectacularly wrong.
Disgraceful and reckless.

agree, a bunch of moronic, unexplainable decisions which even the most hardened Pulis fan couldn't defend.
This in the most important game Stoke have played for FUCKING YEARS.

I can tell you why, Tony; but you won't like it. Pugh > Dicko = Experience over youth Cort > Shawsy = Experience over youth Griffin > Wilko = Experience over youth Midfield ... No Lenny. If Pearson had 10 more games under his belt for us, he might be a replacement, but no one else is. Without Lenny we have two holding midfielders (one with a long throw) and a new guy who isn't up to the pace at this stage of the season and the same bloke who's been played out of position (one side or the other) since September. In short ... no Lenny no win games of football. I've seen pieces of paper be less one-dimensional than we were tonight. Even Beagrie spotted it, and he's rubbish at punditary. Sad ... Like Macari in 93, seems injuries (&/or sickness) will conspire to fuck up what is left after Pulis' conservatism has left us hamstrung in the first place. Gutted. ah

Didnt know why he took pearson off either
To be fair, maybe he had to do that so we didn't have more than 4 loanees on the pitch at the same time?
Isn't that the secondary loanee rule that Wednesday accidentally managed not to break?

Picking Fuller from the start was a no brainer imo, i mean who after the game would have said "he should have started with Mama" ?
