Thought he had a decent game to be fair. Didn't make any silly decisions, let the game flow. I was a bit sceptical before the game when I found out he was in charge but he had a good game imho.

I thought he should have booked Hudson earler than he diid there were two tackles one on Cressy and the other on Ameobe that were definate instant Yellow

Have to agree Bob, didn't really notice him a great deal and that's always a good sign with a ref.

Got to agree, I said earlier, probably the most decent, and unbiased ref we've had in a long time.

Yeh, Clatternburg to be fair is the best ref I've seen at Stoke this season. Good old Clatto!

his impartiality is IMHO unquestioned.
what I liked was his ability to talk to the players, explain what he had given and why and get on with the game.
what I didn't like was his utter inability to deal with Moses's "simulation" - his simulation was so bad even his own own team mates were having to have words with him.
he also failed to issue cards for some pretty bad fouls.
although I do seriously believe that there should be a 3rd card, eg Blue, that sends the player to the sin bin for 10 minutes. this could be used for eg cumulative fouls, late and/or deliberate tackles that don't really justify a yellow on their own, but that probably deserve some punishment. half of the palace team would have been in the Sin Bin together early in the 2nd half.
