'Shots on goal'? You mean ONE genuine chance and a bunch of goalmouth scrambles on the end of hopeful punts and torpedo throws. This stone age football has been found out. With the talent we have in the squad, it needs to change. Now. It's not so much the type of football as the personell that were employed to carry it out. The style of football we have played all season has got us where we are, but to not pick your strongest available team at this stage of the season is fucking suicidal. There are four games left, so the idea of completely changing our style of play is fucking idiotic. You have been spouting your shite on this board all season, regardless of the fact that we have been successfull, but don't think for a second that last nights mistakes validate the bullshit that you have constantly posted on here all fucking season. The mistakes were in selection, not in the style of play and if you think that we can change now and suddenly waltz through the last, and most important four gamesz of the season by playing some kind of fantasy football, you must be on fucking crack. Knobhead.

If we'd have played like Palace did and not won, we'd have felt extremely hard done to. They did what we used to do so well, defend for their lives and battle for every ball on the pitch. Add to that a few players who actually seemed able to do anything other than twat it and they looked very dangerous on the break with pace and creativity.
Both the team (bar a couple) and the manager were poor last night.

I'm sure Sir Peter will be pleased that, having shelled out a fortune, the only thing between us and promotion could be luck !

Top post cheadlepotter. Totally agree with your thoughts on the total lack of wins against the teams posted. Also about the two players and the reasons stated.
