I couldn't give a fuck about KJ now - he's a limp flaccid whiner. Lots of people earn fuck all and still turn out for SCFC. The money he's on in wages bonuses sponsorship and other freebies and favours, fuck him. We all have problems in life and tough times to fight through, but he shows no balls, big spoiled babyman. Needs to grow up and stand up for himself. Not the type of personality to fit in at SCFC and the area.

Spoiled namby pamby footballers ? Yes.

Good result - well played Stoke, did what you needed to. Shame we didn't end up with a rout but the fact we are in the QF's is great.
Come on Stoke have belief now, we can get to Wembley!

Summed up in a word: Comfy. Given the standard of the opposition, at least first half we played - what was for us - some expansive stuff ... even if all three goals were headers (and two from set-pieces) I think the main thing it showed is how far we have had to come from when we were League 1. Luck to Brighton in their promotion And roll on Crawley town in the next round for us

Home draw please. Can see why Brighton are doing so well got some decent players. Millwall have cost me £200 quid 8/9 on my coupon the bastards.

Nice to get the goals in the first half.
Fuller worked hard, just needs to get his confidence back. Jones tried hard in patches. Similarly, I think he needs something to fall for him and he'll be playing well again.
Back five were very comfortable and the middle snuffed out any "passing" game Brighton thought they had.
All in all a very satisfying watch.

Impressed with Brighton. Kept plugging away and didn't give up.
Efficient enough performance today by us, especially defensively. Bring on Arsenal.

Good game, totally outclassed in the 1st half but thought we gave a good account of ourselves in the 2nd. Only thing which annoys me is that all 3 of your goals came fom corners/ set pieces which we should of been working on all week. Ah well, premiership sides struggle against them so guess I can't complain. Good luck for the rest of the comp, hope you win it!

You were better second half and i think we knew it was job done by then as long as we did nothing daft. Good luck and i am sure you will be in the Champ next season in your new ground which looks great !!!

I thought Carew and Pennant were quality, I thought Jones was a bit lacklustre though?

I do have to say that was our easiest victory for 33 years when we beat Tilbury 4-0 in the cup, but at least your management team now know the gap that has to be closed for you to be Prem bound.

Well, as i started this thread i better come back and say well done Stoke City. In the QF now so hope you can go all the way. We played poor in the first half with some surprising players not being used by Poyet but i guess we have the league as our main target not that it is an excuse in any way whatsoever. Our youngster Caskey(or Forster-Caskey as he is now known) is a real star of the future i think, and we improved a little in the second half.

A comfortable win for the boys, full credit to Brighton, never gave up. Wilson and Pennant looked very good together on the right, Walters had a good game also. If we can get a home draw at 6 tomorrow, don't care who it is, Goaaaaaaaarn stoke.

One minor correction - the second goal was from open play, but in all honesty, your keeper should have dealt with it.

No it wasn't. that was when we beat Norwich (i think) 5-0 during the glorious Johan Boskamp reign. We could have won 12-0 today, just like we could have done against Tilbury if we could have been bothered. We have had bigger wins; Grimsby, Leeds (twice), but none so easy as today. And I have eliminated any remaining nightmares about that tit's time in charge of our club.
