It's a long, long time since I seen us so comfy ... armchair stuff from us ... even considering the level of opposition But, as me dad will be saying, listening to his wireless, "You can only beat what's put in front of you" Smoke. Early commentator quote on my stream said they were bringing 7000 (i think)!! yeah right! Long time since its been this easy for Stoke. Keep warm mate.

What's shocking me isn't just how comfortable we look, it's the style in which we're playing. Actually moving it out from the back every now and again, Pennant looks so much better with an overlapping full back behind him, lets him drift around and means he can cut in or lay it off, same with Ethers too when he was on.
Carew has been superb again as well, really highlights the class difference between our good premier league centre forwards and someone capable of playing Champions League/Europa League football

Excellent play so far, should have had at least 1 more too.
Only downside for me is the sitting back after the 2nd goal. Please can we go for a big win which will make a major difference to our confidence for the rest of the season.
A goal for Ricci and maybe one or two from the midfield would lift the players enormously.
Some lovely flowing and passing moves though, which is great to see. Pugh has had a great game overlapping and posing a threat. Wilson has looked solid and composed, such a great cross for the second goal from him.

Looks like Radio's told his lot to concentrate on the League.
Fair enough really, they'll probably give it 20 at the start of the second then if they don't score, go through the motions.

Looking more balanced today...Brighton don't know whats hit them.
Wilson playing well at RB...shame Ethers gone off...hopefully just precautionary.
More of the same 2nd half ...with a clean sheet.
Send Gus and the south coast boys back home to think again.

Just doesn't seem like Stoke though! Quite a revelation...
