This season so far scored in the last 10 mins of the game I'll give you a clue the name begins with an S and ends in an E. You would expect it to be one of the top clubs but it is us on 11 then Chelsea on 10. And people STILL leave early. Its a credit to the manager and players that we fight to the last seconds.

Or...does it highlight the problem that we leave it too late before we actually start to attack?

Half full, half empty.....
We are shocking starters, that must be said!
Makes for exciting finishes though (sometimes!), especially when on TV!
Mind you, games under Lou seemed to be settle din the last 10 mins every week!

I think its a positive. Often the pundits say that the top teams always seem to score late in a game due to the pressure mounting on teams. This was certainly the case with Sunderland who were a bit like a boxer on the ropes getting pummelled and eventually going down

Shows that our lads are fitter than most, and can be first, and firmer, to that 50/50 in the eighty something minute when the other sides legs are slightly more weary

I read a stat a few weeks ago that said 36% of our goals were scored in the last 15 mins, closely followed by Sunderland with 35%.

Another stat quoted in the papers today is that we are joint third in the table of goals scored from set pieces. Chelsea have scored 8, Newcastle 6, and Stoke, Brum & Blackburn 3. I'm sure we've got more than 3 Premier League goals this season.

I'd rather win games in the last 10 minutes than loose them, we had a rather bad habbit of doing that last season.

It's about time we started performing in the last minutes rather than suffering scenes like the alamo, regardless of the score.

Otherwise it's just wrong.

Here are our goal distribution stats: stats.football365.com/dom/ENG/teams/StokeCty.htmlAs said above, we have 11 in the last 10 minutes, but we've conceded 5 in the last 10 minutes. Sunderland (as they were mentioned earlier) have scored 7 in the last 10 minutes, but conceded 11. I think the very top teams haven't scored quite as many in the final minutes as so many of their games are "wrapped up" by that stage, they don't need to venture forwards.
