Liverpool fans because they come from all over Britain, and Ireland, Asia and just about everywhere else.
You wont find the most passionate fans in the premier league, you have to look in the lower leagues and non league.

How can passion be defined in terms of a football supporter?
Is it based on travelling to every single game of the season in all forms of weather?
Wearing a stupid outfit, ringing a bell and naming yourself John Portsmouth Football Club Westwood?
Having a massive fuck-off beer belly, getting a N.U.F.C tattoo emblazoned over it and wearing no shirt to matches.
Every club has its fair share of passionate fans, Wigan aside (snigger).
The scousers, geordies are passionate but they're also both very deluded and speak like imbeciles.
Is it based on

Spurs are as good a support as any. Totally agree, since promotion to this league they are the only club I have felt that match our support home and away. Other clubs can have a very decent minority that give it a good go - i always tend to be impressed with Hull fans to the left of the away end at their ground, same for Sunderland. And from pre-promotion days there was always a decent atmosphere with fans at places like Leicester, Leeds, Cardiff, even Plymouth. Can''t look past Spurs though for fans that, like ourselves, seem to have very vocal fans all around the ground and both home and away.

Leeds have got to be up there, but as previously said how do you define passion? Is it fair to say that someone who sits in an executive box with a 3 course meal is less passionate than some one who gets pissed and shouts and swears on the Boothen End?

Another point though, don't you find that clubs you associate as being clubs with "real" fans and passion tend to be the ones you dislike most (other than your Man Ure and Arsenal) ;D
I really dislike teams like Man City, Wolves, Birmingham etc. because they have your typical 'salt of the earth' fans who really give it large when winning/won - i feel we are exactly the same. Just as i'm sure that fans of other clubs hate losing to us because of our fans' tendency to rub it in during and after the game, I hate losing to teams like those listed above for the same reason. I'd never feel as wound up by losing to the likes of Fulham, Reading etc. as they don't come with the same characteristics.
Grudging respect for 'proper' fans of'proper' clubs, but yet a strong sense of dislike too ;D

It absolutely pains me to say it but you won't get a louder/passionate lot away from home than the dirty red mancs. Always very vocal, a good repertoire of songs and also travel in large numbers. Yet at home the ground is 30% of supporters with cameras taking pictures of the corner flags and prawn sandwiches.
Passion can be defined by travelling from Plymouth to Newcastle for a Tuesday night match regardless of your league position.
In that case-Paul whitehouse is best supporter in Britain.

There aren't really any passionate fans (in large numbers) any more. The game has priced out most of the working class passion and it's evolved into a theatre type 'night out' for many of the new breed of fans. Clubs from the rougher areas still have their moments but they're few and far between compared to how it used to be.

leeds for numbers. but thier catchment area is all of yorkshire, teesside, tyneside, wearside. they have the largest out of town match going support ahead of the red scousers then us. im not gona mention our following (mufc) as ill be biased. but every following thats come to old trafford has sung the un original shite and never sung about thier own team for 90mins bar leeds in the fa cup when they brought 9k numbers wise ill say, leeds, newcastle (took some decent numbers tonight),everton, liverpool in no order teams that lie about thier support like they are gods gift but are the most fickle set of cunts going boro, man city, villa, obviously i admire say 20 lower league fans that travelled hundreds of miles midweek etc but thats what fans do ? i know united fans who travel from hampshire week in week out to every home and away game and have done for decades, they just get on with it. thats the kinda dedication you want. for home support week in week out i cant say that anyone is decent in the prem.every club has thier hangers on,part time fans. new age "who r ya" type. some more than others. and without sounding arrogant whenever we travel to a ground its a very big game and the home fans are up for it more than say if wigan, fulham travelled there. old trafford and anfield can be loud as fuck when they really want to be. but its only for very big special games like most grounds. its a very large spectrum your trying to cover with passionate. if im gona be a biased fucker ill say pre prem days united travelled the largest away from home and it only takes a few searches on youtube to see for yourself

Wow the 'shit' fans sing off a hyme book away from home, must be hard supporting a team you know is going to win most games eh zzzz
For me Leeds, Cardiff, Millwall, Brum, Spurs and Pompey, Man City used to be pretty good but seems they've gone the same route as the other big teams, fuck your scouse or the shit, full of Abduls from Slough and Herberts from Hackney who are about as passionate as snogging a wet fish.

Man Utd away. As much as it pains me to say. What makes Man Utd's away following any more passionate than ours? Because they know a few more songs? Because they have the biggest fanbase in the world and manage to sell allocations to away games?

I know it's amazing the worlds 3rd biggest club can sell out 3000 allocations up and down the country, wherever the Shit play they must have a fair few thousand fans residing in that city anway, plus their away support don't sing in any relation to the game, they all just stare ahead weirdly singing off a hyme sheet, no banter no passion , anything?. Weird fans. Give me Cardiff or Leeds over them anyday.
