Got to say I went to the game and saw no trouble at all on the terrace, what happened on the concourse is a differant matter as I was with the saints fans. They were very load to start with but saints scoring quitened them down. I hope the team play as poorly as they did yesterday against us, saints were crap and thet worse. Vinny came on for the saints in the last 20 minutes and was his usual self, rubbish, my mate recons he could not even get in the prison team!
Woops
Just read the account on the bristol site, block 41 in the corner, probally the only area I could not see.

There has been trouble at most of City's games this season where they have taken a large support (Wolves, QPR, Palace) and no doubt it is going to be a very lively day for the police on the 19th!
The fighting amongst themselves yesterday though seems to be all about standing, someone got upset about his and his lads view of the game being spoilt and after no doubt telling the bloke in front to sit down for the umpteenth time it all kicked off! This is a problem that could occur at any ground any week with the ridiculous all seater ruling that we now have in this country.
In the old days when people who wanted to sit, sat and those who wanted to stand went on the terraces there was NEVER a problem of standing in the seats!

with the Bristol game been at 5pm ish it means everyone is going be in the pub most of the day, and i can see another Cardiff/Brum episode that day. reading the thread on the bristol site makes me think its going to be a war zone especially if the Bristol lot going looking for trouble, think they going be in for a shock when they get penned in the away area. If the police are up to there usual load of crap its going be going off everywhere. www.otib.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=96723

I think most people will know that the Bristol welcome committee were out to greet us down at Ashton Gate though the North Staffs Finest will more than likely have their game plan. So maybe a bit of bravado and tribal gathering but that will be dispersed easily enough.

Just had a look at a video on u tube. Looks like it provided some entertainment for the Southamton fans. Was a bit surprised to see how close the opposing fans are placed at some grounds. I cant see them allowing that small a gap at Stoke if they split the stand for the Stoke game.
