Maybe Parker or Noble? Never really rated Noble before but the take down and volley he did second half was pretty good.

....and the negative? Brum will be a bigger pull than us if we're in for the same players TBH not particularly arsed either way if Jerome comes, he's certainly no Fuller replacement in my eyes

I rate Jerome and would be happy to see him at Stoke.

So, let's sum up; 1. We don't want England international Carlton Cole who scored yet another wonder goal tonight 2. We don't want Cameron Jerome who ran WHam ragged and looks like an identikit young Fuller.
Hello posters, planet Earth calling.
When you have finished your sojourn in Narnia you might come to realise that these are precisely the sorts of players we should be targeting.

I rate Jerome and would be happy to see him at Stoke. Me too. There is not a doubt in my mind that he'd thrive in our system. I don't want to see fuller go but if he does Jerome is without doubt the best we could hope for as a replacement domestically. Some of the shit aimed towards him is fucking pathetic.

Crazy isn't it march. No matter who we get linked with, there always will be somebody to come on and call them shite!!!

Really don't see why Cole is an England international and I don't think he is really better than what we have March. Jerome on the other hand looks like a player who, if played in the right way, with the right partner, could bag goals. He also looks strong enough to satisfy Pulis' unnnatural obsession with big muscular young men

True - but on the other hand Jerome appears to understand that football is a team game and passes the ball to his team mates. Ric, for all his skill, thinks that its the Ricardo Fuller show. He frustrates the bollocks off me with his refusal to pass unless he is about to get his legs snapped. (tin hat on)

Quicker, better in the air and after 6 months of TP training, just as strong. As a lone striker in our formation, his main job is to win set plays and I think he will excel.

His main role should be to score goals. Surely? We are turning football into a bad version of rugby League. Play, set piece, score. and so on

No. Winning matches with more skillfull approach play would be most peoples priority I think you'll find....athough there is a remote tribe in south west Somalia which boasts a team whose average height is 6'3 (big lanky f*ckers) who would argue otherwise , but for the purposes of this discussion here in dear Old Blighty the former is most definitely true.
