City, is it too late for the club to offer the game at a lower price? That way we can get a decent crowd even tho' it's on tele.

I guess it depends what you and the ol' bill are going to do with the remainder of the stand we'll be in (South Stand Lower, according to my ticket). Having only been given us 2800 tickets I'm sure the club would like to sell it out, but I think the old bill have put their foot down on this one to make sure we are segregated as much as possible, thus leaving thousands of empty seats.

Well the away fans stand can cope with 5000 if I remember rightly. It's just the stewards and Coppers who can't

It's just the stewards and Coppers who can't From what I hear you allocated us nearly 5k tickets originally, but the ol' bill stepped in and made it 2800. I'm not sure why it's that amount, but I guess all will become clear when I get there and see how the stand is laid out.

Didn't someone post last week about this? I think they said that 2,800 is an initial allocation (which we offer to near enough all clubs) and should they all be sold a further 1,500 will be made available.
And although I understand the logic behind reducing ticket prices because of Sky coverage, I personally would be disappointed that we would have to do that to get a big crowd for what is such an important match.

And it's not a bad thought at all mate, anything to get more folk through the turnstiles! And if it means there's some extra money for another pint then even better

Fucking bollocks! Why should the club have to reduce ticket prices? This game should be a sell-out if tickets were £30 each.

Must be so it looks full on the telly, i stand corrected and offer my sincere apologies to all concerned and throw myself at the mercy of the court ;D Thinking about it they will wish they were at the top when the good old Britannia weather gets blowing round their nether regions ;D

Eastmids I saw it on there board don't know why they have put them there. Can't see it happening to be honest fella, I assume that whoever posted it saw 'lower' on their ticket and assumed that they were going to be at the front of the stand. I've never seen away support put at the front of the South Stand leaving the back of it empty. Surely it would make it easier to police with the front of the stand cordoned off? I think it's fairly safe to say that they won't be splitting the stand between away and home fans, so personally I'd give as many tickets as you can to the Brizzle fans and make money from it.

They spilt the end at places like Southampton, West Brom so why can we never do it for big games. And only have a line of police as segeration at times at West Brom when the away team fills their allocation.
Don't know why they would need to reduce prices, it would be a joke if we didn't sell 23,000+ for this game.

They have got to be in the top section because you wouldnt fit 2800 in the bottom

It will be a sell out surely. Put ur hands in ur pockets and get down to support ur team instead of whining for money off. No offence to those who genuinely cant afford it or cant come
