Isn't the bloke who wrote An Evening with Gary Lineker, a Stoke Fan? You know the one, the one with Martin Clunes in it as a crazy Stoke fan! Even mentions the great Jimmy Greenhoff if I remember correctly.

Not the most famous but Stephen Fleming, New Zealand cricketer, is a stoke fan He actually isn't. Stephen Fleming went to one Stoke match as a guest of Dominic Cork, who is a good mate of his and a pretty big Stoke fan who still attends today. That's all it was.

Arthur Smith his name is- pretty sure he supports one of the London clubs. Nick Hancock was in the stage production and remember him saying the Stoke references were his doing- there was a Mr Desbackos in it ;D
Frank Bough often used to talk about the old days going to the Vic when on 'Grandstand'

I think the story goes that the part Martin Clunes played was acctually wrote for Nick Hancock who is a good mate of his but he had to turn the part down do to other commitments.
PS why was Julian Clary on the list as a City fan not heard that one before Jeramy Bates is a Stokie

Doesn't make him a fan as such but an admirer- good man Motty. Motty listed on that website as a Barnet fan. It is true though, he is a 'follower' of Stoke (results anyway), like a few teams. I guess it's just like me and River Plate, I love Stoke and they will be my team for life, but I follow River results and watch games when I can on telly. I can't think of any more famous fans though - but I reckon Robbie Williams is a closet Stokie.
