Fuck me, this is a bit intellectual for here isn't it? Although Honduras borders the Caribbean it is technically in Central America! So you're both wrong... I think! Oops, I did mean Central America, honest ;D

I think "The Caribbean" is technically inclusive of all of the ISLANDS in the Caribbean Ocean. The mainland countries are usually considered as Central or South American.

By the way, I know caribbeans are surrounded by sea, and C.America is joined by land, but there's no difference as in area.
Both the same.

Spurs paid getting on for 14 didn't they? I'm not saying he's worth that but to drop 6 million when he's actually done pretty well there is a big drop. I reckon we'd be looking at 10 with add ons I presume you mean £10.000.000? Typical Stoke tight fisted buggers.

A midfield of Pennant- Whitehead - Palacios - Etherington looks great to me! For some matches we could even swap Deano with Wilson or Delap! ;D

Let Wolves have Whelan and then we can get Palacios. Noble would also be nice, but then again I'm a greedy cunt. If it worked out that we lost Whelan and then spent net £5-7m on Palacios, that would be a great deal. He would be perfect for us. I'd be more than happy to just have Palacios and no LB or Striker this window Me too ... Palacios would be the single most important signing Stoke City could possibly make either this window or even in the next few windows. Oh and for what it's worth ... Honduras is in CENTRAL AMERICA like Belize, Nicaragua and Costa Rica (who all have Caribbean coast lines) are ... Jamaica, Barbados, Antigua etc. are actually in the Caribbean.

Presumably he's having a poor season if he's surplus?
I know he was supposed to be a bit of a revelation when he first went there, and he was very well thought of at Wigan - but surprised, on a brief scan, how he seems to have fallen out of favour with the Spurs fans. Seems to be criticisms of his passing and giving away needless free-kicks.

If we get someone in like Palcious it would be nice to see us bring our full backs about 10m further up the pitch. We could actually go for full backs then instead of centre halves!

JJ on bench - and that Brazilian bloke not in the 18.
He doesn't seem that expendable, does he?
Mind you, not many of their fringe players could be as certain to raise the cash as he could, if they want to significantly upgrade with a really big money player?

hes wank a black joey barton What a strange comparison. Especially as Barton is a very good player who is only let down by his attitude, something that has never happened with Palacios. He's not really even the same type of player, he sits and protects and even though his passing isn't poor he's not very creative.
