Is this a real possibility methinks or just pie in the sky.
rico playing wide left to terrorize their full back and cut in and score goals ala west brom etc. I don't think many teams would want to push up on that side leaving rico roaming wide against one and this would still leave two forwards for lawrence to target via crosses etc. Pearson would have to work harder though to cover such runs but how many times does rico beat his man. Instead of tumbling with big centrehalfs all the time to get going he could concentrate on pillaging down the left. I personally would keep delap in the side for throws and his improved play and workrate.
possible working lineup?
Ameobi Boothroyd or or Mama Cresswell
Fuller Pearson Whelan Lawrence
Griffin Shawcross Riggot Delap or Dicko or Griffin Or Pugh or Wilko
Nash (Players listed in terms of preference)
in fairness I don't think this formation would ever be used especially at this stage of play and the players getting to know each other factor ie. new loans but maybe if we need to turn things around a bit or keep a team pinned back.. God forbid play off final needing two goals to go up? Unconventional I know. Be brutal!

Fuller could play left back, he’s that good!!
We need to leave him up front though.

It could work as Fuller could cut in from the left, but in all reality he's our main man, he needs to be up front preferably with Shola. I'm proper excited about seeing Riccy and Shola.

I cant see TP starting with anything other than 2 banks of 4 (although his formation @ Watford was a big surprise) but we could well end up finishing games 433
Fuller could play any of the roles in a 433

Fuller is a maverick.
I don't care if he plays left wing or upfront, the effect which he has upon the team, the way he lifts players is incomparable.
He will decide our future.

At the start of the season I wanted Fuller on the right flank with Sidibe and Parkin upfront (how wrong could i have been?!!).
I feel his jinking runs could be very handy on the wing but now is not the time to be messing around in my opinion.
Get him upfront alongside Shola

This suggestion is comparable to one regarding Sidibe and a possible place in central midfield.

Funnily enough, Fuller is at his most lethal cutting in from the left. Any time he gets the ball on the left hand side, you know that there's a chance coming. Not sure about him playing on the wing, though.

Rico??? The trombone player from the Specials? I know Pulis has some strange selection theories but don't think that would work. He must be about 105 now

Fuller does well when he cuts in from the left wing, although I think him and Ameobi up the top is the way to go!

Dont you have to be willing to pass the ball to play on the wing? Think Rickky would struggle with this part of the role!!

I really cannot wait to see the forward line of Lawrence, Ricci, Shola and Pearson that should be enough of a front line to blast us to the Prem. BRING IT ON!!!

Pulis wouldn't play Fuller out wide in a 4-4-2, as he wouldn't back track like you see Cresswell do.
