Who do you think we would/should try to sign when we get promoted ;D
I would say Kamara and Dempsey and Danny Murphy ( Fulham) Kenny Miller ( Derby) Johnson ( Man City) Sturridge ( Man City) Johnson ( Boro) Ben Foster (Loan, Man Utd)
Still thinking of more possible targets... Any more?
And I think if we go up and invest wisely we have a chance of doing a Sunderland this season, who I feel will avoid relegation comfortablely.

Bullard would be nice but I think other clubs would pay more than us for him. Kevin Nolan from Bolton would also be a good signing if Bolton do go down. Sturridge from Man city? The list could be endless, but I think Tony will go for defenders first. Nothing wrong with that if we make it and stay up.

Healy from Fulham ( always scores you goals )
Sinclair from Chelsea on loan might prove useful.
Viduka from Newcastle, amibitious i know, but i can see him getting pushed further down the pecking order at the Toon next season.
Konchesky from Fulham, pretty solid left-back, achieveable if fulham go down.
Hamann from Man City, maybe worth one season with us?
Hyypia from Liverpool, maybe worth a cheeky punt with agger, skrtel and carragher all there as centre-backs?
Stelios from Bolton, linked with him a few months ago, maybe worth a 1 year deal for us?
bullard, sturridge, eagles posted previously all good shouts aswell.

Kamara and Miller have scored 6 goals between them this season,so I would be disappointed if we signed them. Johnson has been getting rave reviews at Man City so I can't see him coming. Sturridge and Foster-maybe. Dempsey and Murphy,I wouldn't be too disappointed if they joined. Johnson from Boro, playing quite a bit for them now,so I doubt it? As for players I'd pick?We couldn't afford them! ;D

Viduka, Hamann, Hyypia and Stelios, are you crazy, are you hoping to get the highest average age in the Premier League? Now that Pulis finally has began to look further than the current season. I hope we're finished with the signing of old players. One now and then is ok, but not two or three players who only will last one season.

We need one or two expreienced heads in IF we were to get up. You know, people who have played a majority of their career at the top level. People like Hyypia and Hamann fit the bill perfectly. I have a sneeky feeling that TP will go for Gary Speed! Bullard seems a realistic shout. I read that Derby want to sign him in the summer (he is far too good for the Championship) What about Simon Davies? A big gamble, but perhaps Brian Howard from Barnsley (I'm not jumping on the FA Cup bandwagon). However, touted at £3million today Man Utd might be willing to let Frazier Campbell have a year of experience in the top flight (if Hull don't go up, he might be willing to join) We can talk about this all day though- we need to get there first! Come on Stoke!!!!!

I'd thought of Simon Davies. Left wing, lost his way, Welsh. Ticks a few boxes. Although Paul Parry would be a good addition for the left too. Although he seems to have become a more central player this year.
I have a feeling Pulis will cast his eye at Bolton in a big way.
Nicky Hunt, Ricardo Gardner, Kevin davies, Gavin McCann and Andrew O'Brien all seem either Pulis type players or solutions for problem positions in the team.
Someone else has come to the Dempsey conclusion too.

5.) Stoke City. This seems even less likely, given that the Potters have yet to secure promotion from the Coca-Cola Championship this season -- they're currently in second place -- and they already have two high-scoring strikers in Ricardo Fuller and Richard Cresswell. However, the club's owner is also launching a USL club in 2009 in Austin, and Texas just happens to be Dempsey's home state. Having a U.S. national with Premier League experience in the lineup could help Stoke build its American presence -- if they win promotion first, of course.
