Sky televising our next two games could not have happened at a worse time in my opinion.
Undoubtibly it will affect the gates, especially the Palace game on Monday night.
However, just as the players have their bit to do to secure promotion so do us fans.
There is no doubt about it that when there is a 20K+ crowd in the Brit the atmosphere helps lift the players. I'm also sure that the bigger crowds can help influence referee decisions in our favour too.
So come on Stokies, get yourselves down the Brit for the last three home games.
Anything less than 20,000 will be embarassing given the situation we are in and will look highly embarrasing on the TV

Agreed. Im dreading both games as we rarely perform well on sky, but a hug crowd will do us a big favour.

Agreed. It was tempting to give it a miss and watch it in the pub especially with an 8pm kick off (as I live 125 miles away) but common sense won through and I'll be at the Palace game.

Agree entirely - but the down side is that a big crowd can also affect the players if we go behind and struggle to break down palarces defence. We need 100 per cent backing all through the game, not just when we are winning

Totally agree, We need to have bums on seats at the Brit not in the pub. Everyone needs to get to the last 3 home games to roar the Potters on into the Premier. Come on all you part timers get down the ground for the final push.

Still think there will be nearly 20,000 there for both matches. We need to sell out for the Brizzle game, Every man and his dog should be in the ground roaring them on. Its a massive game for both clubs.

That would be great - i ment at least 20,000 home fans - with brizzle bringing 2800 plus maybe few more stokies getting tickets on the day.

i have said this in a few of my threads today, we need to be the 12th man for the remaining home games and get behind the lads! against scunny, at 2-0 down, the crowd cheering the lads on and brilliance of fuller and lawrence won us the match.
Goarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrn Stoke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If we don't get 20'000 plus for the Palace game and 25'000 for Brizzle we don'i deserve a Premiership team....a lot of people are talking about the Leicester match as being massive but not as massive as Palace..if we don't win these games then forget the end of season celebrations against Leicester..

We the supporters are important, there is no doubt about that.
It will be bitterly disappointing to everyone associated at the club, if we do not get decent crowds for Palace and Bristol City.
We really do have a good chance of picking up some decent points at home with three matches still to play at the Brit but we need decent attendances to spur on the players and to give everybody a positive lift to ensure that we do achieve what we are all after.
So please come down and support the lads. During WWI there was the famous Lord Kitchener posters that said "Your Country Needs You", well Stokies it's our time now, "Your Club Needs You" during these two games. F**k Sky, support Stoke!

£20 + Cold + Not Even A Stoke Fan = Darts Match
The pub hasn't even got Sky. But we might follow the score on the skinternet. Page 337 on Beeb 1 usually.

palace game being on sky may turn a few away, not me though. can't see the brizzle game being to affected, especially if both sides are still in the automatic mix up, no question brizzle will sell their allocation and stoke should sell 20000 plus. its such a massive game

Agreed Lightwood - In that video of 'Oh when the reds' why do 2/3 lads try and do the fast bit at the end of every verse?! There are too many of them at home matches at thats why we never get more than two verses tops of 'oh when the reds' good video though

20,000+ crowd, 3 points, good performance, what a buzz that would give us all on Monday night! And also send out a big message to our promotion rivals that City are back!
