i must say that i can't wait to come on here come the end of season when you mess up your only chance of getting into the Premiership. Some of you either don't live anywhere near Stoke or have taken leave of your senses. The unwashed live to find any excuse to pour shit our way. They still flash our score up on their coal driven scoreboard during their home games but only when we go behind! Still! Enjoy the sinking and remember the Mad Monk Machin praying for our defeats and predicting Vale in Europe within a decade under Penniless 2001! Then just laugh and keep laughing.

Even when the soap dodgers were 1 league above us they were still bitter and twisted about Stoke, So even if we miss out on promotion the season will not have been a complete washout , Those of us with good memories will still have the Fail's relegation to celebrate.

It's the only result I look for ...apart from Stokes.
It sad when idiots like to see them lose.
This City is far too small for hatred.

The facts are they hate us, they would be more than delighted if we failed to go up this season, in fact for some of their supporters it’s almost like their only last wish now. It’s more important to some of them than actually how Vale do, they get more enjoyment out of any perceived misery we suffer. Personally my one and only wish now (baring the obvious miracle) is Crewe come down with us. I was even tempted to cheer Gillingham on against us to make sure that happened. I hate Crewe fans with a passion (personal reasons) and I would love it, just love it, if they came down with us! As for the Championship, I'm torn. I hate Bristol City because of that arrogant tit Brooker and the fact they're a bunch of n00bs. I hate West Brom because they're West Brom and because of that play-off final. I like Hull as some of my mates from my old Uni days support them. Watford I couldn't care less about and Stoke going up would damage Vale's attendances. So I'm not sure who I want to go up bar for Hull!

I always think that our relationship with vale is like Englands relationship with Scotland... they hate us with a position, and we dont really mind them, and in some cases would want them to win matches etc..
this is because we view them as a quirky irrelevance, and that winds them up even more

Stupid you hate a club because they're from the same City- look at the Liverpool derby last week- grown men with kids yelling abuse etc Alan Parry was spot on with his comments re would they have the bottle to do it face to face in the street.
Couldn't care less about Port Vale to be honest- must be hard for them to take looking at our position but ridiculous that folk are concerned about them when we are on the verge of what could be an amazing season.
Someone even posted a song for Saturday on here last week 'Vale are going down' etc !!!! Yes that was also my major concern on Saturday as well- forget about us eh ???
If they go down they go down- someone has to and if them or any other club have no interest whatsoever. Fair play to those supporters who turn up week in week out to follow them though as with any club in similar circumstances.

I agree with MCf, the derby games were by and large very low moments and reflective of the nadir we had reached. WhyDelilah, you cannot be serious. Only the Vale fans miss the derby games.
