They were talking about him on soccer Sat and one of them said he believes he is the best out and out winger in the league. The others agreed.

I heard that too, I think it was Phil Thompson who said it. Stelling also said we were the unluckiest team in the league too with all the refereeing decisions we've been on the receiving end of, and that we've hit the cross-bar 14 times, and the panel agreed again.

I think Bale is just as much a contender for player of the season so far as the others you mentioned.
But its a great 'killer stat' for Matty. That's real praise.

In just the prem, I think modric has been more important to spurs this season than bale, and so has van der vaart. I have been so impressed by Adam in his first season up here, imagine if we had had a player orchestrating games like he has done in our first season!? We would be suggesting he should win the ballon d'or!

Seems like Pulis should be encouraging us to shoot about 2 inches lower, we'd probably be in top 6 if he did that

This comment at the bottom is one of the most difficult things I've ever tried to read. It's one sentence with no breaks ;D
Jamie mate im sorry but in no way could you put Gareth Bale in the same league as Samir Nasri who is diffrent gravy he has been the best player this season magical player who has exquisite ability the goals he scored are out of this world the best compliment i can pay the lad is arsenal have not missed Fabregas when he has played thats how good he has been i like Gareth Bale as a player but he is not top draw far from its the same with Lennon who had a good couple of seasons before he has gone of the boil the best players at spurs by a long shot are Modric and Van Der Vaart spurs fans will tell you that as for the other platers who have been top draw Marounne Chamakh has taken to the premier league like a duck to water he has been superb and he cost nothing bargain of the season the players in my top 10 so far would be are Joey Barton,Yaya Toure,Phil Jones,Luka Modric,Rafael Van Der Vaart,Samir Nasri,Marouanne Chamakh,David Silva,Andy Carroll and John Elmander.

And only three english players (Carrol, Crouch and Baines) have more assists than him. Yet he seemingly is nowhere near the England squad.
