I have a Hoover HNL 6166 since the other day isnt spinning
usually its just a case of removing the filter, cleaning and replacing but still isnt spinning

If its a vacuum cleaner it could be the rubber belt thats split that would explain the not spinning,
If its a washer then I havent a clue,. sorry

could be something simple like the belt coming off, on my last one thats what happened, allthough that was because the bearings were worn, you could fix it your self if thats the case, you just have to remove the back cover and take the top off in most washers

Probably just the motor brushes need replacing. Very easy diy job so shouldn't cost the earth for professional. Ihave a Hotpoint that this happens to every 18 months or so and I can replace brushes in about 30 minutes and they cost around £12 from spares shop in Plymouth.
