will he ever get another chance? would be great to see 2 born and bread stokies down the flanks. At one stage he was better than wilkinson, so with a run in the team who says he cant be just as good? thoughts

He's born and bred in Derby, but he's an honorary Stokie definitely ;D Would be nice to see him impress the way Wilko is, but the reports from Pompey aren't good at the moment

Still only 22 or 23 so has time on his side but he needs to show improvement at the club he's loaned out to in order to get back in the reckoning.

he got sent off a few weeks ago for one of the worst "tackles" I've ever seen, could've ended the opponents career. He would have to be way more disciplined if he returned-and follow Wilko's example.

Not even good enough for the Championship, let alone Stoke in the Prem!
His touch is one of the worst I've ever seen.

He was good enough for us, Barnsley and Blackpool.

Who knows, Pulis has a knack of getting the best out of players but its unlikely, think he will go at the end of the season

will he ever get another chance? would be great to see 2 born and bread stokies down the flanks. thoughts EPIC FAIL he's born n bred derby, and plays with the same passion/stupidity at Pompy too He tries to disguise his lack of skill with heart and it won't work at this level

You also have to remember he had a very bad cruciate ligament injury which with a accelerated rehabilitation programme can get back in action in 6 months,a typical person this would take 8-12 months. So give the lad a chance .Also if he had no future at Stoke TP would have got rid last season when Preston and Shefield Utd wanted him.

He's arguably a better left back than Collins.
Higginbotham should be at full back, Collins just pisses me off with every fucking thing he does. But Dicko never let us down as far as i'm concerned.
You say he has no skill and he masks it with heart - our current two full backs are just the same.
I can cope with having Wilko at full back, he's a good defender, he gets murdered at times but so do a lot of full backs against good players - Collins isn't a left back at all, more or less every goal we've conceded has been down to him or Faye, the latter now hopefully seems to have lost his place, now we just need Collins to follow suit - we need a specialist full back in there, whether it's a Nicky Shorey or whatever!
8th in the league going great guns, but there's always stuff to pick at. Love it.

Not good enough for the prem imo but i thought the same about Wilko a few years back and i was wrong on him so hopefully Dicko will prove me wrong but i very much doubt it.
