Did you hear it when one of them said, there's trouble in the capital. Jesus Christ! Barcelona the capital of Spain, brilliant. He said something like "there will be trouble in the capital", I think. And obviously he was referring to their opponents. I very much hope he did! Otherwise what is he doing commentating, he needs get back school.

Every time I see that Sami Khedira, he doesn't half remind me of Milan Baros

That Puyol is one little prick, dishes it out but was pushed by Ramos and unless they discover a sniper in the stand he went down like a bitch

At the age of 18, I can honestly say that's one of the best performances I've ever seen in my life.

9 players of Barcelonas starting 11 originated from their own academy, proof money doesnt buy you teamwork, quality and the best footballing team I have ever laid my pretty eyes upon. Man City, Chelsea, Man Utd and Real Madrid take note. Sublime.

one of, if not THE best games of footy i've ever witnessed...their [barca] skill and distribution is world class and shows the prem up massively...in fact, on that showing, i'd say the premier league was fucking useless

So who's best, Ronaldo or Messi? Messi plays for the better team, no doubt about it but Ronaldo is just as good a player on his day.

Two great teams don't make a league. Barca and Real Madrid are by far the best teams in the world though.

Agree with the 1st part of that statement but il be taking this opportunity to lay Barca for the Champions League now as they are sure to be ridiculously underpriced and the 1st team to close them down with a solid defence will beat them.

Tippy tappy football at it's best. Just think Stoke beat Barcelona at the Nou camp once upon a time.

Indeed. They do have the best squads though, but neither of them are unbeatable. If Xavi got injured for example you could argue that they would really struggle, because without him they seem to play shit. That's when they're normally extremely boring to watch. It's hard to predict who will win the CL though.

It's hard to predict who will win the CL though. Very true, and I think a player like Essien could keep him quiet and in turn stop the whole team functioning as effortlessly as they can. Cambiasso did it very effectively for Inter last year and the most surprising thing about the game tonight was that Diarra didn't start and man mark Xavi.
