I think that griff isn't a natural leader, i think that he carn't calm the players while the pressure is on we start panicing like yesterday. Instead just being calm like in the 1st half we start tryin to wack the ball into row z. This is where griff should come in an calm then down and get them back together. On the otherhand i don't think that we should change the captaincy now because it to late in the season to change things round like that and disrupt the balnce like thoughts please

Yep.
Totally agree there, when Ameobi got cautioned early on, Griff didn't have a word with him,so Shola just went around snapping people in a red mist. If he would've got sent off, (could've easily happened if the ref wouldn't have used his common sense), all that money and effort of bringing him here would be for sweet fa.
I think Tone did the right thing in bringing him off, but for poo???

I'd change the captain! As the grey haired prick shouldn't be on the pitch!!!

He had an awful game, caused more problems than anything else so no calming effect on the rest of the team.
Kept giving the ball away and what was he doing before their goal ?

He would be fine if he just smashed the ball forward like Dicko does, who had a good game. But he pisses about with it too much , especially away from home when he should just twat it. Heading the ball back into the danger area is not the answer "of calming things down".
He's fucking lost it, would be even worse at left back, because he would have to keep coming inside on his stronger foot!

Apologies if this has been posted before, but I've only just returned from Yorkshire (having stayed with my sister-in-law's family who are Owls fans). I've just seen this thread and thought I'd vent my spleen.
I thought Griffin had as shocking a second half as any Stoke player all season.
He just didn't seem at the races, he gave the ball away 3 times in as many minutes and went awol when the ball was passed to their goalscorer.
Surely Wilko must come in for the Palace game, as on this performance Griff could torpedo our promotion chances almost single-handedly!
