Who cares... ??? I'm waiting for them to be brought down a peg or two when they go on their annual points famine... Good club and I like 'em but we should be looking to finish higher than them...AGAIN.

Both been superb, and Turner is more than deserving of his England recognition. That isn't me saying that Shawcross isn't, or that Turner is more deserving - just that Turner has been outstanding. The injuries are a HUGE blow to us. We have to keep Mensah fit now and that looks unlikely to happen. I don't fancy a couple of months of Anton Ferdinand there, anyway. An Onuoha/Mensah partnership be my ideal atm as Ferdinand and Da Silva never relly convinced. It'll affect us though, no question. I think just about any team in the league would feel the loss of their 2 centre backs.

It's a real blow Captain and you are absolutely right. If Ryan and Huth were injured we would certainly struggle to cope. Your club are playing well and we all fear injuries to key players.

They won't go down, but will not be far off (just like previous seasons) How can you possibly talk down about a club who beat you 2-0. The only reason you finished higher is because its your first couple of seasons and your starting to get figured out now. We finished 7th twice then got relegated 2 seasons later. I think Stoke will be relegated.

What you've said is the ramblings of a man who knows pretty much nothing about football. Let's break it down... "How can you possibly talk down about a club who beat you 2-0" Easy. We lost to Hull last season at their ground and Middlesbrough the season before at their ground. Yes you beat us 2-0, but we beat Newcastle at SJP and you lost 5-1. One game is not a season definer, would you not agree? "We finished 7th twice then got relegated 2 seasons later" I don't know what relevance this has. We've improved our squad and starting 11, and in season 3 are beating the likes of Liverpool and Villa (albeit a poor Liverpool side). Were you beating these sides in your 3rd season, and developing some nice runs of wins, including away wins (WBA, Newcastle)? I would suggest that our 3rd season is, so far, absolutely fuck all like yours. "The only reason you finished higher is because its your first couple of seasons and your starting to get figured out now" or is it because we've been better than you over the course of a season? We've not been figured out by a lot of sides (we've beaten teams this year, don't you know?). "I think Stoke will be relegated" Please enlighten me as to why you think this. We're 2 points the Mighty Sunderland and sitting 8th in the league but you're putting bets on us getting relegated. The mind boggles.

Or your club.

If the above defines who you support, why don't you support Man City for the financial elements ? Or Man Utd or even Newcastle for the attendance ? Chelsea for the team ?

You have a player nominated due to his preformances in the world cup. Gyan, Bent and Welbeck(who isn't actually yours) or Jones, Fuller and Tuncay? Same kind of quality. Last year Stoke, Chelsea and Citeh were the only teams in the top-flight to be debt free.

Having said that since our return to top flight we have finished above them twice and just 1 point behind them in the table in our 3rd year. That's what matters never mind my dicks bigger than yours posts that we often here from our visitors

I dont know why they'd brag about Wellbeck or Onouha anyway. If they are as fantastic as we are led to believe then they'll be going back to their parent clubs. Nice.

If Mancini stays at Man City I can see Onuoha being allowed to leave even though he's better than Toure, Lescott, Richards, Boyata and Zabaleta. But it would cost a lot and probably involve Henderson going the other way.
Fergie I think will keep Wellbeck unless he wants Henderson that much, that he will use him to get the lad.

My own personal belief is that John Mensah is a genuine world class centre half. Not that it does us much good given his general inability to play games.

Steve bruce has even said if he was fit he'd be playing for barcelona or someone like that. John mensah said god has sent him to sunderland and its his purpose to play here .
