janner, I was glad to read the WBA supporter's view, first, as our own supporter (Robert Holloway) was, sadly, embarrassingly pessimistic about us. "My ambiton for the season is just to stay up", "Had a lucky penalty" etc. Daren't think what he'll say when we lose 0-3!
We certainly didn't excel, but that's negativity at its worst. ???

i love it where he says the second penalty was rediculous, a shoulder to shoulder, well... watch the replays and you will see simon cox shoulder charge into the back of dean whitehead, a foul, correct decision.

And after reading that report from the Copacabana of the West Midlands, we can all see why West Brom face a difficult battle to stay in the Prem this season.
Message to the Smethwick Samba Boys - your tip tap crap is boring and will relegate you AGAIN.

Funny article by a bitter, deluded Baggie.
Firstly I'll come clean, I didn't go on Saturday and take my view from the 5 mins of MOTD highlights which were pretty much all Stoke bar a header or 2 from some baggie no name.
Our deluded black country blogger blusters on and on about us making noise when we get a throw in, but neglects to mention that the 3rd goal came from a Rory throw, so yes we do get excited about throw ins, and I for one make no apology. I get also get excited when we attack through open play or through a free kick or corner. I don't give a shit; a goal's a goal and I go mental whenever we score. A Sweetly curled left footer from Tuncay against Man Utd from outside the box, or a Fuller 6 yard box scramble by Fuller against Liverpool. Or a penalty aginst them, I love 'em all and glad we create chance after chance by any means. Perhaps if they used their set pieces with a bit more enterprise they might have scored more a few more. Not that it will help much when you're conceding 25 goals in 14 games - relegation defending, eh baggies?
I have no problem with baggies fans espousing a brand of total football, but they can't knock us when we are closer to achieving it. We defend well, we attack well. We play excellent football in the final third and work hard to get the ball there. Their brand of football seems to be tapping it round the midfield with little end product unless they're playing teams that have have forgotten the basics of defending.
They can slag off our footy all they want. We will end the season higher than them and enjoy the season more.

to be fair we shouldn't be getting excited like block 19 do when we get a throw in, were better than that now, although it's useful v the big teams

someone needs to message him with a definition of irony regarding the 'orgasms over a throw in'.
