Don't be daft! We only play hoofball and only score from throw ins

Very true. No other team uses the long throw technique.
Other than Morten Gamst Pedersen, Blackburn, Fulham, Branoslav Ivanovic, Chelsea, Man United, Everton, The entire Championship, Newcastle, Man City, Spurs...I could go on!!!
Unfortunately, a section of the Baggies faithful still believe that there pale imitation of "Samba-esque" football should be congratulated by it's ugly neighbours.
They are so deluded it's untrue they really are. At least they may be able to look forward to an away game at Scunny next season if they continue to think they are Barcelona Mk2

You've got to admire their belief, beautiful carpet football vs nasty ugly mean hoofing Stoke :-)

They have played some good stuff this season to be fair, but they don't have the stomach for a fight, that could cause them problems.
Thought TP's summing up was spot on.

"Fulltime Result = Football 0 – Chris Foy 3"
Funny. I'm pretty sure that if those 2 penalties were reversed, and they were Baggies players going down - and were not given - they would be screaming blue murder how they were screwed over. And i'm not sure what hand Foy played in the third?? Seemed like a neat interchange and good finish to me.

SCFC, there you go again using facts and not blind dedication to deliver your weak argument ;-)

The Baggies fan who wrote for the" Sunday Observer fans network" yesterday was praising us
"We could learn a lot from the way stoke approached it; their players aren't better than ours, but their belief and confidence in their system was obvious"

SCFC, there you go again using facts and not blind dedication to deliver your weak argument ;-) I had something similar the other day. A boggie fan said, at no point in the game did you produce any quality. To which i replied, If Messi produced that back heel for Walters, or Tunnys reverse pass to Whitehead for our second penalty, it would have got a lot more attention than it did. They're up themselves so much its untrue.

Will they ever learn??? Probably not!!! If they want to watch a Brazillian style carpet football when they HAVEN'T got the squad/players to do that, then they're just gonna have to make do with being a yoyo team!!!

"How depressing it must be to be a Stoke fan and have to make a lot of noise every time you got a throw in. Embarrassing"
What is embarrassing is having 21,000 people not sing a single song for their team despite being marginally on top for the entire first half and having a decent period of sustained pressure in the second. And not being able to beat us in the last 26 games. And writing some wanky bitter football snobbery filled blog saying how shit the team who just beat you 3-0 on your own turf are.

Be honest now, out of these two teams would you swap any Stoke player for any WBA player?
ALBION (4-2-3-1): Carson; Jara, Tamas, Ibanez, Cech; Scharner, Mulumbu, Barnes, Morrison, Thomas; Odemwingie. Subs: Myhill (gk), Dorrans, Cox, S Reid, Shorey, Fortuné, Tchoyi
STOKE (4-4-2): Begovic; Wilkinson, Huth, Shawcross, Collins; Pennant, Delap, Whitehead, Etherington; Fuller, Jones. Subs: Soresen (gk), Higginbotham, Whelan, Gudjohnson, Wilson, Walters, Tuncay.
For me there would be one, Dorrans for Whelan and that is it, they do not have players as good as ours and that is fact.
I hope they fuck off down to the Sparky Championship.

I understand that fans get annoyed when their team loses and they often play the blame game - hoping to find some significant incident in the match as a likely turning point. However, this muppet plainly points out that Carson "went to ground" and didn't get the ball. He did make contact with Jones. Personally, I think Jones was theatrical, which I don't like at all. However, improper contact was made inside the box which, the rules state, results in a penalty. End of.
As for the comment about Foy being on the scoresheet three times, that's ludicrous and contradictory. The writer has himself already outlined that Carson was guilty of conceding a penalty. He also fails to mention that Foy had no involvement in the final goal other than blowing his whistle and confirming what everyone else saw - Walters smacking the ball into the roof of the net.
Conclusion? Some people are just thick.

Very true. No other team uses the long throw technique. it's not us, but I've always found it hilariously funny how the first goal ever in the premier league was scored. A team playing in red and white played a long ball from the keeper which was knocked out of play only for a goal to be scored directly from the resulting throw in.

'They had taken an undeserved lead following a 50:50 decision; cue rapturous scenes from the vast away support. They reminded us that Stoke always beat West Brom, and we took the opportunity to remind them that they had never won anything. Albion have come from behind after conceding the first goal on a number of occasions this season; however, I had the feeling that this wasn’t going to be our day given who the opposition was'.
