Finally. 280 all out. 91 runs for the last 2 wickets, really piss poor England. Allowed them back in it and Johnson, as a rule, gets plenty of wickets after he gets a load of runs We desperately need a 3 figure lead here otherwise, things will get difficult in the final innings batting last Just like at Perth we allow their tail to wag. Gough aside, England haven't had someone with the ability to mop up tails consistently in the time I've watched cricket, the past 13 years

Johnson opening with Hilfenhaus, good positive call from Clarke. Bit of a gamble from Clarke but you can definitely see why he's done it, Johnson does tend to bowl well when he's batted well, averaging 25 in matches when he's got a 50

Strauss in Twenty20 mode out there, 36 off 26 balls. Good stuff so far lads, keep it going

73-0. Well done to England to come out like that after a horrible end to the Aussie innings. Yes the Aussies have bowled poorly but Strauss has looked in fantastic form and Cook has looked solid. Good start, we need to kick on, this pitch just looks to have flattened out plus 16 overs of the new ball have been negotiated so it's getting softer

That's criminal. Alastair Cook you lucky boy but Michael Beer that is a bit village for a spinner to bowl a no ball

Any bowler bowling a no-ball deserves shootoing but it is a million times worse when it is a slow bowler (I am refraining from calling him a spinner!!)

First the cunts cheat with the non catch then they show no class by ignoring cook. I hate them.

England lead by 208 with 3 wickets left in the 1st innings. It would be nice to see the boys come out positively in the morning and look to score some quick runs and then have a real go at the with the ball. Aussie batting line-up is very fragile and if we can get 2 or 3 early the rest should follow and we can seal a 3-1 series!! C'MON THE LAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting conflict of interests by two former captains on commentary this morning
Hussain: Just keep batting and batting and grind them into the dirt
Atherton: Declare, bowl them out and win the series 3-1
Top class performances yet again from Kallis, Tendulkar and Steyn in the South Africa v India game

I fell asleep with the cricket on just after the tea interval so missed the whole incident with Bell. Saw what happened with Cook and Hughes, really impressed with Cook's reaction afterwards, refusing to blame Hughes, despite it looking pretty diabolical from Hughes. I remember AB de Villiers doing something similar the last time South Africa were over here.
Great stuff from Cooky, Belly and Matty. There's so much time left in game, we should bat till we're bowled out.
The South Africa v India game looks like it could be a cracker of a last day. I cannot imagine Jacques Kallis has played too many more important knocks than the 2 he's played in this match. Both innings he was in when South Africa were struggling a bit and he was injured for the whole of the 2nd innings, so what a brave innings.

Wish I could hear it, having to listen to ABC Grandstand Cricket team, and it all about the snick from bell, everyone seemingly has forgotten that Clarke did not walk after middling the ball to short leg in Adelaide...

Quality Century Matt Prior, take a bow, really kept the scoreboard ticking over whilst Bresnan was bogged down.
Couple of nice shots of a punter in last seasons home top near the bottom of the Barmy Army enclosure.

Went to bed after the first two sessions but, having not had a lot of sleep lately, I decided to go to bed, Sky+ the 10am highlights and see what happened in the final session when I got up. 5 wickets in the final session, well done lads, it's been a fantastic tour. Hopefully we can polish off the tail without it wagging again so we can win by an innings for the third time in the series, I wonder whether Australia have ever lost by an innings 3 times in a series before Good way for Colly to go out of Test Cricket with a convincing series win in Australia
