Looks like Mike Pejic has got himself into some sort of hot water at Ipswich. He moved there in the summer as Manager of their u18s side after previous coaching roles at Stoke and Plymouth Academy/School of Excellence. Mike is well known for his bluntness which some people find difficult to handle. It got him the sack as Vale Assistant Manager when he took a Vale player to task in the dressing room. I have no idea what this is about but I could take an educated guess based on previous. www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=17383

Judging by the comments it looks like its Keane's fault

Pej would have argued with himself in a locked cupboard.

i know from my own experience of playing under him at stoke that he is a quality coach but a bully. His man management is awful and drove many of us out from stoke

Having watched him train the Plymouth lads a few times in St. Ives Pej still seems as fit as the butchers dog and he looks like he expects the kiddies to be as well. He runs the lads into the ground so no wonder they may be complaining!
Perhaps we should have him back to get Gudjohnsen fit!

The link doesn't open so I can only conclude that he's been wanking off Keaneo's dog behind his back.

8/9 of us left after hed`d been in charge a year at stoke. Really good coach. Just screaming in the faces of 14/15/16 year olds is no way to develop players.
He never called me by my name, called me a nickname he knew I hated. Everytime I corrected him he said ok, then called it me again after.
Great coach mind, never seen a better one. Oh, maybe Noel Blake actually ;D

Oh, maybe Noel Blake actually ;D Noel wasn't slow at dishing it out either was he, Simpson? I remember watching a session down at the Dome a few years back when he warned the then u16s that he would be telling them like it was. He reasoned to them that they may as well get use to it as one day they would get it in the dressing room after a bad game from some Manager who would tell them that they would never play for that manager again. Pej's fitness sessions with the then older boys (older than my lads age group that is) were something to behold too! When were you there, mate?
