Shame he's on the wrong side though.
What's the obvious thing to happen now - knowing our run of bad fortune. Ah well, maybe worth a punt on him to score anyway - It "may" ease the result - possibly. ???

Him and Jerome are nailed on to score. Zigic because that's the way fate and our defence work and Jerome because he always bloody does against us!

Question is who is going to pick him up at set pieces??, Im sure Ryan would have been given the task so it now could be Robert " ooh a conna seem to get me feet of the floor in me own box " Huth.

I knew those Christmas cards would do the trick eventually ;D ;D I know he hasn't pulled up any trees yet at birmingham but i still say he would have been a monster for stoke with our crowd behind him. No concrete evidence obviously, just a feeling. Guess we'll never know.

And me, despite what the media say I don't think we've ever been that great at defending set pieces and this Brum team have the tools to exploit that. Larsson puts in a tremendous ball and then they have the height and a then someone like Phillips who just sniffs out goals.

We need to keep the ball better in their half, and please dont be giving away silly free kicks down the flanks. (Wilko.. ???)

Shame he's on the wrong side though. What? A shame for who? Us? I don't want him as a Stoke player, and never have. 'oh, he's dead tall, so he'll be ace' Yeah, that's worked out so far for Brum ain't it? He's looked amazing! ???

Dont understand I'm pretty sure davesviews said that when Zigic was snapped up in the last transfer window that our manager does not rate him and that only brum had gone in for him. However on radio Stoke today pulis singled Zigic out for praise saying he i a top top player. Should we have not been in for him being as pulis rates him as a top top player he went cheap enough in the end?

I hope Higgy starts at CB to add some height to set pieces. Abdy, Higgy, Collins and Huth is a fairly strong defensive unit aerially and we'll need it against a decent Brum side

He'll do the business for us tonight. Ziggy own goal from a Stoke set peice to give the Mighty Potters all three points, and he'll get a reminder of what he missed out on when he walks off to a standing ovation.

Some of us told you how much of a waste of money he was back in June, where every man and his dog were spewing their guts over why we never went for him... He'll cost Brum a 6M fee and 40k+ a week in wages over 4 years. Bargain! ;D
