did i honestly expect to see Stoke in this position, and being brutally honest, i will be very surprised to see a write up like....
"Stoke lead the way going into what promises to be another dramatic day of Championship action.
Every single team in the division will feel they have something still to play for as the season reaches its climax, but it is Stoke who are in pole position to win promotion to the Premier League.
The past week has been crammed with emergency loan deals and one of the most eyecatching new arrivals, Shola Ameobi, is poised to make his debut as Stoke travel to struggling Sheffield Wednesday"
again anytime soon if we spunk it all away, the phrases like "Stoke are in pole position" and "Stoke have the most eyecatching new arrival" is stuff dreams are made of, and although i am sure we will get pummelled week in, week out, in the Prem, i couldnt face another how-ever-many years without seeing, hearing and reading the likes of above.
Come on Tone and the Team..... For US!!!!

see, i'm not so sure we would get pummelled every week if and when we get in the prem, we would get the right players in to do the job of achieving at least 4th bottom, as we have got players in that have got us to the top of the championship.
getting to the prem will realise one of my lifes wishes, having seen them in the old first division(pre premiership) i now want us to be a prem outfit for more than a season.

Banbury dead right.
TP is building a squad to go up AND stay up. It won't be pretty, but no one will want to play us. Back 8 workin' aaarrrd and goals from Ric and Shola + set pieces. Will we become the new Bolton?
